If I could leave 0, trust me I would. My friends and I wanted to go in for a fun wine tasting experience for my birthday. Being from wine country, I was told Miramonte was the place to go. However! Because we were going to show up in a limo, to avoid any drinking and driving, the lady whom we spoke to, very rudely told us that they are an «elegant winery» and that we sound like a party group. So if you show up in a limo, bus, van, excursion, or any vehicle that could hold more than 5 people, they will not serve you! I guess they don’t mind people drinking and driving from their establishment.

I’m more of a beer drinker but this Winery’s red and white sangrias and Nisreen’s excellent customer service are the reason we keep coming back. It’s the reason we became wine club members as well. They have a beautiful outdoor patio area and a restaurant too. Be sure to stop here while in wine country.

My girlfriends and I just came back from the most amazing wine tasting tour at Miramonte Winery! You get to taste about ten different wines, food AND get an hour tour around the winery. Sal was our guide/educator and he was fantastic. Sal was so funny and knowledgable throughout the whole tour. He made the whole experience so much better than I expected it to be. I have already told my family and friends about taking another tour in the future! Thank you Miramonte and Sal for a great experience. I can’t wait to crack open my new bottle of wine and come back very soon!

Pros: –They are open to 10pm(most wineries close at 4pm or 5pm) –Their best seller seems to be there Sangria(~$ 17.50), served with or without champagne –They have a lounge area and offer food Cons: -$ 20 for 6 tastings and the wine isn’t very good, all the reds seemed too acidic. Also the wine wasn’t served at the proper temperature. My first wine tasted like the bottle has been sitting in the sun. –Before they poured my first tasting the server was already pushing their wine club. By the time I was on my fourth tasting the server was asking if I wanted to buy a bottle.

I LOVE this winery! My boyfriend is a member and it is very affordable. We go about 2 times a month and we could not be happier. The service is always great, the wines are delicious, and the food is super tasty. I recommend the Fromage and Tomato. It’s a tray of bread, cheeses, and this delicious tomato, oil, garlic, caper concoction! Yum! The atmosphere is beautiful! There’s a patio, and outdoor seating area with tables or couches. Lots of pretty lights. It’s a great first date spot or even an anniversary, romantic night out spot.

Sal was a fantastic tour guide, wonderfully entertaining and extraordinarily informational representative of this beautiful vineyard. We joined the wine club after the tour and food pairing because the wines were unusual and yummy. Bring friends. If you visit only a handful of Temecula wineries DONOT miss this one!

Went on a wine tour a few months ago and was so excited for it! It actually rained while we were waiting for the tour to begin, which made me feel skeptical about continuing the tour. But our guide as so helpful and wanted our experience not to be spoiled. We began with the introduction inside first and later went outside to see the vines. Although we didn’t get to step on the soil, it was still a pleasant scenery. He provided us with umbrellas as we were moving from room to room across the winery. Very affordable and Groupon seems to always have a great deal! Definitely a must see for those interested in learning more bout wines

It’s a nice place for some wine. There’s a lot of people going there over the weekend. Everyone wants to relax a bit after the whole week working, that’s why it’s very difficult to find a parking, but you have to be patient to wait for the parking. We tried the sangria, it was good. The champagne was complementary if you buy a bottle. We had the red sangria, but we will try the white one next time.

I’ve been on the fence about Miramonte. It’s the popular winery with entertainment and its open late. I took the VIP tour and Jen our guide. She deserves 5 stars! She is knowledgeable funny and remembered everyone’s name even at the end! I learned some new things and ended up joining!

This is probably one of my favorite winery in Temecula area. We have been here quite a few times and it has been on point. We love to do wine tasting or just go to buy a bottle and relax with some food at their outside patio. They added some extra seating and heater for the colder weather that we are having now. Tasting is $ 20 per person on weekend and $ 16 or $ 18 on weekday.

This was our first wine tasting and we loved it! With so many wineries in the area we weren’t sure where to go, as we had just 3 hours to taste. We decided on 2 and it was the perfect number for 3 hours. Our bartender was extremely helpful offering us suggestions based on what we liked. Their sweet whites were perfect for beginner wine drinkers. We liked the whites here much better than the whites at the other winery we visited and the almond champaign was definitely a must-try. We also tried a dessert wine which was very sweet and very strong, and our bartender graciously offered to mix some almond champaign in to make a dessert wine cocktail. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was very busy so keep that in mind when visiting. The other winery we visited was less crowded but the wines here were by far superior. The tasting is more pricey at $ 20 for 5 tastes without a complementary souvenir glass, but overall worth a stop! Transportation tip: if you’re planning on going to multiple wineries and don’t want to drive between them, take über. It was about $ 5 to über between wineries and there was hardly any wait time.

The most laid back atmosphere of all the wineries we visited. The ambiance and décor felt more like a brewery than a winery(which is awesome, if you ask me). Kumal helped us out, and was incredibly friendly and laid back. There was a bit of a «this wine is really unique because such and such”-spiel thing going on, but I’m guessing it was due to a couple managers walking around? Whatever the case may be, it wasn’t at all off-putting. Most of the wines themselves were good(though not great). The one stand-out was the Moscato. The lady loves Moscato(and I secretly do too, even though it’s totally not manly of me), and got a glass everywhere we went; Miramonte’s was the best by far.

Came here last Friday night, we were a group of 6(3 couples) and had such a great time. They had live band playing good music. Food was tasty, our server was interesting — we named him Jinglebeard. View from the deck was pretty and they had heaters on since it was chilly out. Definitely coming back here when I visit Temecula next time. :)

Let me first state that I had a great time at the winery during the tour, but BEWAREOFTHEIRMANIPULATION with the wine club membership. When I first purchased the wine membership in September, I specifically asked for the wine not to be shipped. They ended up shipping the wine in november charging me the 13 dollars extra in shipping and handling. I called two weeks after I received my shipment letting them know that they are charging me for the shipment and I would like a refund and clarify that I wanted to pick up my orders. I was told that they had a glitch in the system in sept and it was their mistake that they shipped the wine, but because I didn’t check my email and catch their mistake in time before they shipped it, it was my responsibility to pay for it. They also continued to contradict themselves saying that they made no mistake(yet the initial mistake was theres) and from a business standpoint they could not refund me. I explained to them that they could do this to all their wine club members and screw them over yet she continued to be rude and say that i should have noticed the email they sent me. There was no supervisor I could speak to until Monday. I then went onto my account to see what the settings were for delivery of my wine and it specifically says«pick-up» YET they still are charging me for shipping. I find it odd that they continue to put a shipping charge when the delivery option is pick-up? THISDEFINITELYISTHEWORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE I HAVE experienced in a while. I recently was given a groupon as a gift to go back to this winery and because of this experience, I will be more hesitant in giving any business to them. Because of their stubbornness and unwillingness to work with the customer, I will be canceling my membership when they could have potentially had me as a member for years(because their wine is actually good).

This winery has an excellent outside seating area where we got lucky and saw a live jazz band. Here is the best deal ever… Join their wine club and you commit to 3 shipments of 2 bottles each. About $ 40. Per shipment but here is what you get. 4 glasses of wine every time you visit are gratis. No cost. And they are big glasses of wine. Also, try a tasting first and if you want to join they take $ 10 off from the tasting. I joined because their red and white sangria is excellent. A bit on the sweet side but if you are into sweet wines they are the bomb. So especially if you are local and can pick up your wine in person this is one of the best wine clubs I have seen. And their staff is friendly and attentive.

DOGFRIENDLY! By far, this was the BEST service we experienced out of all the wineries in Temecula. Seriously AMAZING staff! Everyone was so friendly! They even made sure our dog was well hydrated and brought out a fresh water bowl for her without us even asking. So sweet! We did a tasting here which was $ 20 for 6 tastes. The tasting room was packed! Pretty busy on a Saturday but the wait wasn’t too long. The wines I tried were okay. I didn’t love any of them enough to buy a bottle. However, we all LOVED their REDSANGRIA! So well balanced and delicious! The ice cold sangria tasted so refreshing since it was such a hot summer day. I highly recommend! Parking: free in private lot

Even more of my favorite place now! We did the VIP tour deal from groupon with Jen. First of all I love Miramonte, it’s cool and not overly crowded like SC, but the bartenders outside were always a bit… Hmm how can I say this nicely… The bartenders didn’t know shit about wine. Every time I come there’ll be a huge ass line and one bartender outside, and he wasn’t the brightest cookie… No biggie, they probably hire them for looks. We didn’t care as long as we got our drinks… After a long time waiting in that line… Needless to say, Jen the wine tour lady made up for those bartenders outside. She is extremely knowledgeable! Jen made the wine tour fun, entertaining, educational and she also got us drunk and we became members. Yes she’s that damn good! That was the funnest wine tour I’ve been on! Since we’re members now, we’ll be returning often. At least we’ll get better service in the members section then wait in that long line.

What a FUN winery. I think that’s what I love about Temecula… the seriousness and staunchness of wine tasting in Central and Norcal is out the window here. Wine tasting should be fun and relaxing, after all, you are day drinking! Anyway, a tasting here costs $ 20 but they are super generous and throw in a ton of extra tastings. Somms are funny and casual. There is a restaurant on property, but it opens a little later so you might want to taste around 3:30 and then have a late lunch at 4 when it opens. You can also enjoy a glass or wine or sangria on the gorgeous terrace and have some crostini and cheese from their deli. Don’t be fooled by the fact that its packaged stuff, it is DELICIOUS! I’m still looking for the antipasto cheese spread in my neighborhood but haven’t had much luck. I joined their sangria club and am excited to return and enjoy their beautiful terrace very soon!

After stopping at another winery, we decided to end our wine tasting day here. Out of the two wineries, this was probably my least favorite of the two. I thought it was still a goody though. We went for their 6 flight tastings for $ 20 per person. You get a card and they indicate which wines you have already drank. It’s kinda nice because then you can remember which ones you like and which you drank already. They pour you a little less than other places but no biggie. The servers here are friendly and knowledgeable. Like most of the wineries in the area, this place is located up on a hill. The view is very beautiful. There is an inside area where the bar wine bar is and an outdoor patio where you can drink, relax, and chat with friends. The inside is rather large with plenty of servers. We came on a Saturday and it was pretty pack and busy. We were lucky to find a nice sofa outside with shade. Finding a good spot to sit can be hard since it does get so busy and can be very hot outside. They do have water mist for those hot days which is helpful and nice. Parking though, can be tricky since their lot does fill up. The type of people here I found to be rather pretentious for no good reason. Or maybe these inlanders are just not my cup of tea. What I like most about this place is that it closes later than the other wineries. It’s perfect if you want another stop after your favorite winery.
