Sameer Gupta – Sniffles and Itch

Out of three doctors I visited about a rash I developed after my son was born, Dr Gupta was the only one that actually cared to find out what was wrong and try to help me fix it.
After my son was born I developed a very itchy rash and hives all over my body. After two weeks I visited my OB/​GYN who prescribed «lotion» and a steroid cream… 30 grams. For my entire body. OK. He mentioned that I may be having an allergic reaction to «something,» which I found unlikely.
Two weeks later I was still itchy and sleep deprived from baby and being unable to sleep thanks to the hives. I visited my dermatologist who was also completely unhelpful but at least she prescribed me a tub of the steroid cream this time. She also suggested spreading Aquaphor on my body which then ruined my clothes but did not help my skin. She also thought I might have had an allergic reaction to «something.»
A month later I STILL was dealing with an itchy rash so since both doctors thought I might be allergic to «something» I made my first appointment with Dr Gupta. I liked the electronic way of filling out the new patient paperwork and everyone was very nice and understanding about me bringing my newborn son. Dr Gupta was very patient listening to my saga and actually took extensive notes during our consultation. He gave me some suggestions for helping my skin, none of which were prescription drugs but OTC remedies I actually had at home.
Two weeks later my symptoms were 90% better thanks to Dr Gupta’s advice! Today I am completely cured. And just for the record, I did a skin test and I do not have any allergies so my other doctors were wrong. I’ll definitely come back to Dr Gupta in the future, he is such a nice guy and actually cared to help me out. I was practically in tears from frustration, thank you Dr Gupta for curing me!

Dr. Gupta is not only one of the BEST Doctors I have ever been to and well educated, but he is a great guy too! He is so nice, down to earth, always gives you the time of day and I always feel comfortable with everything he says and suggest. Dr. Gupta has gone above and beyond to help me and it means the WORLD to me! My entire family have become patients and we all are very happy to have him. I found Dr. Gupta on US News and World Report as a Top Doc and I swear by there ratings and I have to agree he simply is the BEST!
If you are seeking quality care, a awesome caring staff, quick service and a great doctor who treats you like a human being with a few laughs then this is your doctor. He really is a 10* Doc!
