Sunset Barber Shop 2

Went out on a limb and decided to get a barber cut instead of my normal $ 60 trip to the salon. I sat in Kim’s chair. She was very nice and knew exactly what I wanted — even though I didn’t have a clue. This is the best cut I’ve had in a long time and I will definitely be back!

Tom is the most awesome barber I’ve had in years. I moved here 2 years ago and it took me about a year to find a decent barber. When I found Tom, I was impressed with his skills and down to earth attitude. I wouldn’t go to another barber if I could help it. They may be a couple of dollars more than the test, but we’ll work it.

This is the best barbershop in all of Temecula hands down!

Joel is the best Barber I have ever had cut my hair, lines are crisp design work was excellent been looking for a great Barber now I will never go to another Barber or shop they have free drinks and tvs and very professional I would suggest waiting for Joel he has the best fades in town!

I wanted to get a few cuts in before I write an honest review about this place just to be sure my barber is consistent. I expect my barber to be up to date with the latest men’s hairstyles and know how to use sheers. Not all men want a high and tight fade, comb-​over, and a hard part! A friend of mine recommend me to Tom. I was skeptical at first but went in anyway and had the sides cleaned up and tapered. I gotta say, Tom’s neck line tapers are probably the best I’ve gotten so far. Sides were tapered nicely and a slight scissor over comb blend on the back of the head was perfect. Straight razor neck and temple clean up was a treat as well.

Great local shop! Kym took care of my overgrown mess! Trimmed me up, razor shave and nice conversation!

Best barbershop in town. I’ve been getting my haircut here for about a year now. Tom is the only one that can get my hair looking right!

The messiest side part I have ever gotten. I asked for a really simple hair cut that only involved trimming the sides and my hair is completely messed up now. Also gave my neck a little slice while shaving the back. On top of never going back, I now need to find someone who can clean up the mess they left me with.

I hate going to barber and coming home to find some long hairs that they missed. This is one of the few places in town that don’t leave you with long hairs. They pay attention to all of the smaller details. I highly recommend.

I gave them one star, if I could give them a –5 I would! If you go to this place DO NOT sit in lilly’s chair, my hair was fairly long and I asked her to leave about 2 inches of hair on my head and she completely ignored me and shaved all my hair off! I look like a guy who belongs in the military and that is not what I wanted! She started right in the middle of my head, she screwed up my father’s beard and hair two weeks prior! On top of that I do not wish to make too much of a scene, but I was pressured to sit in her chair, if this woman does that, dont let her, because you will leave there highly upset! Completely pissed off about this experience!

Nick did a great job on my cut. This is my new place.

After finding Sunset Barbershop, I won’t trust anyone else. Tom and Nick are both true professionals who are dedicated to their craft. Nick has a barber shop pole tattoo. THAT is the kind of guy you want cutting your hair.

Took my brothers and I to get a haircut here over the weekend, wanted to try somewhere new since our old barber upped their prices. Had seen this place but never stopped in. Checked it out and loved it. Barbers were great, very professional. Forsure gonna keep coming back.

My new favorite spot! I came in on my lunch break today because my normal haircut shop was crowded. I was very pleased that they’re basically less than a quarter mile from my office! I walk in, and the 3 people working were very polite, professional, and courteous. I got my haircut from the female (forgot her name), but she was great. I was even offered a beer during my haircut (which I enjoyed thoroughly!) Now the thing that will most definitely make me a repeat customer, is the fact that they have the vacuums hooked up to the hair clippers! Which means that the rest of my day at work, I have minimal hair itching from my shirt!
I am definitely coming back! I would recommend this place to any of my friends or family looking for a relaxing, quick, and quality barber shop.

I’ve been coming to this place for about 2 months now.
This is my place to go to. The people are really respectful here and actually take the time to do your hair. I get haircuts every week and it’s not just «another haircut» to them. These people have such positive attitudes and actually take the time to get to know you.
And I love how they don’t close early on sundays.

This place is very awesome. It is my go to for my manscape mornings. Styles are very similar these days so I think it’s important to stand out. With a more professional appearance one may stand out even with a similar cut. I’ve had cuts by all the members of their staff and I can confidently say that Sunset Barber Shop is the place to go because no matter who you get, they take their time to make sure everything is proper. So go in for the complimentary refreshments, great pricing, can do attitudes, knowledgeable and experienced staff and leave smiling as somebody who stands out from the crowd.

I’ve been in Temecula for 6months now and I’ve been looking for a steady barber. My search his over, Tom is awesome!
I use to drive to LA for business and try to meet up with my original barber. The problem is I don’t drive to LA often enough and my org-​barber has an unusual schedule.
Tom, will be my go-​to locally!
Tip: They do razor fades here with a straight edge. (Rare)

OK — so in Temecula, those of you who like close, clean haircuts, you know there’s only a few choices.
Basically, it’s Stews or Custom Cuts.
I usually go to Stews just because the crowd at Custom Cuts can be, eh, I guess you can say «unsavory». It’s basically where all the homies go to get fades and «lined up». Also, the waits are loooong and there’s no number system.
Since, I usually go with my son, I just couldn’t do the the waits… with the obnoxious crowd and a little guy in tow.
That’s why I usually go with Stews — I take my chances though, as only a few of the barbers do a real good job at Stews, you have to get the right one — and I always forget who is who.
So, for me, its Custom Cuts and good haircut but less than desirable crowd and ridiculously long waits or Stews and ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chances of getting the cut I want.
Thank god I found Sunset!
Been there twice now, both times with my son. The owner is an Asian guy, think hes Tom or Dave. Also, the ladys name is Kim and she is fantastic. I guess they both worked on base (Pendelton) before opening this place. My son and I both get low fades, and she did a great job, took her time and worked all the details — eyebrows and hot towel.
Sunset even gives you a free beverage while you wait — oh, and they have a pool table.
