Temecula To The Maxx

I had been wine tasting with my girlfriend in Temecula before, but this was out first wine tour. We met our driver/​guide George at one of the wineries where the hummer was waiting and ready to go. The tour group we rode with was small and relaxed, wine was great, and George was very knowledgeable of the area. The off-​road experience with the view of the entirety of Temecula, surrounding areas, and Lake Skinner was also one-​of-​kind. The entire tour was a great experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure in Temecula wine country!

Enjoyed a great day with Jeff. He was very friendly and genuinely aimed to make all of us happy on our tour. The off road portion in the hummer was very cool and it was a fun little jaunt with great sights. We were very pleased at the wineries we visited and the flexibility to meet our desires.

We went to 4 different Wineries with 6 tastings per venue. After the first one George took us to the Top of the mountain where it was an incredible view.
there is no other way I would tour Temecula, When my fiancé and I go back I will be on this tour and bring friends. If you have up to 10 friends DO THIS! If you have a date DO IT! So worth the Money I would pay more honestly.

This is an excellent tour. We did a bachelorette party for my little sister and she loved it. There were ten of us girls and we all fit comfortably in the Hummer. George really took care of us from the beginning of planning he event to the end. We visited four wineries with six tastings at each place. The lunch we had at the Cougar winery was very good. Like many of the other reviewers, George doesn’t rush you, he really makes the tour enjoyable. I Highly recommend this tour. The price $ 99 per person is actually very reasonable considering we each had a total of 20 wine tastings, lunch, and pick-​up and drop-​off all included. Overall, I highly recommend this tour.

This tour was beyond our expectations! Would definitely recommend George and Temecula to the Maxx to anyone seeking a true Temecula wine tasting experience. As a local, I’m used to the traditional tourist spots but loved visiting wineries on the DePortola trail. The Oak Mountain Winery and its caves was an awesome unexpected find. George was knowledgeable, helpful and very accommodating. Giving us as much time as we wanted at each winery and a wonderful ride to the mountain top. Lunch was awesome and timed perfectly. My out of town guest was thrilled with the experience. Definitely worth it.

I made reservations with George. He was very nice. We originally were going to stay in temecula but we found that the weekend we wanted to stay was very expensive for a hotel so we decided to stay in oceanside at a better rate. When looking for a wine tasting tour for 2 we tried to book with some tours we had taken in the past but we would have to drive to catch them in temecula and the whole idea is to not drive and taste all we can. Temecula to the Maxx had a great deal for our saturday tasting. $ 99 for 4 wineries and lunch. That is what I wanted to do. –it was my birthday weekend– When we inquired we could get the tour free from the casino or in temecula like the rest of the tours there or we could pay additional money each and TTTM would come pick us up in Oceanside. This is what we opted for. It was only $ 29 each and we did no driving. George got us to and from the hotel and took us to 4 wineries and lunch. It was a beautiful day. George even took us off roading and gave us a tour around temecula. I would to it again and would recommend it.

George was the best, don’t think we could have visited the same wineries (with lunch) on our own for what we paid for Temecula To The Maxx. George went out of his way to make this an enjoyable experience. The Hummer (Bummer) ride was alone almost worth the price of admission. This is my first time posting on Unilocal but the experience was worth sharing.

This tour was amazing! We got to see 4 wineries, had an amazingly yummy lunch, and got to go off-​roading to the highest point of the mountain with an amazing view. The SUV we were in was so clean and cool, and George our tour guide was so fun and knowledgeable of all the wineries.
We had a wonderful day and we would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try out the wineries in Temecula.

My husband and 2 friends enjoyed a wine tour yesterday and had a wonderful time. Jeff was our driver/​tour guide and he made the entire event so fun and interesting. We were lucky enough to get Damnit Debbie at Oak Mountain Winery — she was such a hoot, so fun and very informative. We all liked the wine, feel, and atmosphere at Oak Mountain Winery the best; we were disappointed in the service and most of the wines at Frangipani Estate Winery — they certainly didn’t have the friendliness of everyone at Oak Mountain Winery. We’ll be back for sure!

Purchased the deluxe wine tour (all tastes are included) for a birthday gift and we all had a wonderful time Jeff was a great tour guide host and the off road trip in the humV was the best and there was a gorgeous view at the top of the road, I HIGHLY recommend this company for a great wine tour.

This tour was amazing! Historical and so noteworthy! Every accommodation was made for us, a few dates we were scheduled for didn’t work our because of rain or our mix up, Jeff was understanding. He also helped to accommodate our son’s dog and even provided his own home to make her happy. I saw a view I have never seen in all my growing up years in this area. I recently used legendary tours for a second time and had an even better time then the first time which I didn’t think was possible! George transported us safely to three wineries that I chose then Jeff met us at our final stop to take us in the hummer to the tippy top of Temecula for spectacular sunset views. It was a fabulous way to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriends.

LOVE LOVE LOVE tour guide Jeff! Jeff really made it an awesome trip, he’s very knowledgeable, funny, and relaxed. Our group had so much fun with him. I love the fact that he took us to wineries we’d like and some I don’t think we’d find on our own. The Maxx Hummer was really awesome! We went to 4 wineries!!! I would suggest 2 wineries, a nap, then the next 2! If you are wondering if you can get «toasty» or drunk wine tasting… OH YES YOU CAN!!! THANK YOU JEFF! We WILL see you again! Visited Temecula for the first time, Jeff picked us up at our hotel and got the party started ! He took us on a nice little safari ride with amazing views! Highly recommend !!!

What a fantastic tour! Wine tasting and off-roading…the perfect culmination of sophistication and adventure! Scott was the perfect tour guide and very well versed in geodynamics. I have been on several of the wine tours in Temecula, and I have to say the group of people that chose this tour were fun and adventurous… definitely not the snooty, «I’m better than you crowd» nor the «Girls gone wild crowd». We were having such a great time that Scott threw in another winery! I definitely recommend this tour… It was LEGENDARY!

We had a memorable, fun and thrilling ride in Temecula, taking the Legendary MAXX tour with driver/​guide and all-​round funny guy Jeff. Lucky for us it was a Tuesday and Temecula felt empty so we got the royal treatment and an unplanned personal tour of «Italy, Spain and France”-style wines and wineries!
Kudos and thanks to Jeff and Scott for letting this happen with only two riders — we were celebrating our engagement, as I had just popped the question, and it would have been a bummer to cancel. Thank you for being part of our day and making it fun. I have already shared and highly recommended this tour to many of my friends.
No question on whether we will return — we will!

Our tour was so much fun! We had a great group, Jeff was the best tour guide, and we drank lots of wine! Explored 3 different wineries, got a little uphill tour of Temecula, and the lunch was absolutely amazing! I definitely recommend this tour! :) thank you Jeff for making our anniversary so special!

We had a blast!
For the first talk with Scott over the phone, it was a very friendly and smooth sailing arrangement for a party of 8 with varied interests and tastes for Wine! We went as a big group, 3 couples and 2 single friends :) and not to mention 1 of us was underage ;)
Since a couple of us had already been to Temecula earlier, we wanted our friends to visit everyone personal favorite wineries. Scott was so kind to adjust the tour to include almost all our favorite wineries, switched the starting point of our tour, got us the hummer (even though it was out of range from the normal setup) and also arranged vegetarian meal option as needed!
So we got to visit
1) Thornton Winery (We got a personal winery tour and an extra tasting here shhh)
2) Oak Mountain (We had lunch here)
3) Danza del Sol (We got a off road hummer tour on the way to Danza)
4) Keyways Winery
Even though we did all 4 wineries, Jeff, our amazing tour guide gifted us the Almond Champagne (Temecula local). Jeff was very friendly and caring. He is also a great photographer! We got some amazing clicks and would love to share here… hmm not sure how to add pics but I’l figure it out! Check out for the crazy brown kids on the amazing Yellow 4×4 Hummer!
We will definitely arrange another custom tour with Scott & Jeff!
