The Magic of Photo

Let me start off by saying that I booked my daughter’s 13^th birthday party only a day in advance and from the start Andre was amazing! So professional with helping me get the right photo booth to make her day special. And the booth attendant was just as friendly kept our guest laughing and so helpful we really enjoyed him from his patients to his friendly professionalism, I know it can be difficult dealing with teens but he showed no sweat!!! #1 in our book

The Magic of Photo is AMAZING! I had a sudden interest in photography a few months ago and decided to take the DSLR class for beginners. This class was hands on, very informative, and the instructor was personable. He made himself available for questions after the class and informed the class that we could always email him if we had questions. I took him up on that offer a few weeks later and he was more than helpful. Within the matter of 2 months I went from knowing absolutely nothing about DSLR cameras to being able to use my DSLR camera in various setting without switching to «Auto». I LOVE The Magic of Photo and the service that I receive from Andre. After taking the class I hired him to photograph my cousin’s engagement party. He has a true talent for capturing precious moments and I am thankful for the everlasting memories we will now have of this special day. Thank you!!!

So glad I took this intro class with The Magic of Photo (Andre).
Last year, my brother generously gifted me with a great Canon T4i. While I have always longed to take beautiful, magazine-​worthy shots of family/​friends/​events, taking a camera off the automatic mode intimidates me as much as going to the gym to work out =). Just saying the acronym DSLR is almost as tough for me as knowing what to do with one lol.
Anyway, got a great deal with Living Social. A 2 hour DSLR class for dummies… errr I mean beginners ;). We met at Fairmount Park in Riverside. Beautiful little hidden gem that I had never been to before. Absolutely quaint and charming — perfect for picture taking.
Andre was easy going, friendly and informative. He never made me feel inept or clumsy with my camera. If anything, my confidence level has increased and my interest in the whole field of photography has reached a new peak. That, in and of itself far exceeds the $ 29 I spent for the class.
