Toy World Depot

Loved this cute store! My kids love looking around. At Christmas time, they had the Lego house Santa just had to find that was sold out everywhere else, in store and online. They carry many items you can’t get anywhere else. Hello, Shwings! I would definitely buy more items from this mom-​n-​pop shop in the mall.

I visited this store with my friend a few days ago. She was looking for a gift for a 3 year old girl. The selection for small children seemed to be limited, the middle age group was plentiful. The selection of toys is pretty decent.
The store needed to be cleaned up BIG TIME. There were toys everywhere (that they shouldn’t be). There was only 1 other customer during this time, but I didn’t see the girl working once while we there.
When we went to checkout, she was friendly. However! I kid you not, longest register experience of my LIFE. I mean, we’re talking worse then costco on a holiday weekend long. And it was only my friend in line -.-
First, she had trouble ringing up the 3 or 4 items my friend had and had to rering them multiple times. The debit/​credit machine wasn’t running cards, so my friend had to run out and grab cash (There is an ATM right outside the store luckily). While she went to get cash, another customer checked out, so she had to rering my friend AGAIN! We literally spent 20+ minutes at the register. :(It was horrible.
I would give this store another chance, just because I always like to support «mom and pop stores» and their selection/​prices are VERY fair! I hope my experience is better next time for their sake!

This is a great store that has some very unique items your just going to find at Walmart or Target. It instantly reminded me of the type of store you would see in a movie.
Sure you can find some of these items online for a cheeper price but you are still going to have to pay shipping and wait for the gift to show up.
I“ve been there 3 times in the last 6 months and had a chance to talk to the owner, who was very friendly and knowledgeable about age appropriate toys. No swearing employes only friendly faces.
If you are looking for a special toy this Christmas this is the place to go. Last night they had a good crowd in the store. Hello Kitty and Build a Bear across the way were empty. Disney Store downs stair too was lacking customers. Nice to see a little independent store doing well.

I still love this place!
I was looking for Polly Pockets. I asked where they were– the staff took me right to them -, I bought a set to later find the same set for the same price somewhere else. Like I said before this is a mom and pop store not a big impersonal chain. That’s why I shop here.
