My wife’s SUV had TWO windshield cracks in it. I contacted Scott at Vaughn’s and he basically said that insurance can usually cover these repairs with little or no out of pocket, depending. He even said that if the windshield has a larger crack that has to be replaced that it can be done fairly inexpensively with insurance covering whatever the deductible doesn’t. The service was super fast and my net cost was something like $ 130. I had been quoted anywhere from $ 250 to $ 600 from three other places. Obviously the cost will vary depending on how bad the cracks are and your car — don’t take it to the dealer — they will rip you off…$ 600??? Good job, Vaughn’s. I hope I never have to use YOUR services again soon, but thanks for taking care of us.
