if you are ever thinking of using a car transport company, don’t ever think of using advantage auto transport. i was promised my car pick up 4 days ago from los angeles to be moved to alexandria, va. they still have not picked up my car as of today. i have included a chat log with their online agent.

john barn: what is your actual policy on picking up a vehicle
agent: anything after that you shall not be subject to a cancel charge.
john barn: where is it actually stated how much time you need to pick up a vehicle
agent: so the estimated service we offer is given a weeks notice with a window of 2 – 3 days for pick up.
agent: it does not i dont believe… you enter the agreement thru the sales agents.
agent: actually no i take that back… it is in there on the web page under your tracking number.

john barn: okay. so what happens if after three days the car is still not picked up
agent: nothing… our service is estimated and we will take your target date (jthe available date) and load accordingly especially to what is available.
john barn: so basically what you are saying is if there is no truck available for 1 week. then i can get a full refund of my money
john barn: not one week. i mean 2 weeks
agent: correct.

john barn: it’s nothing personal against you. but this is really ridiculous
it’s been past the 48 hours since this chat and i still haven’t heard from them when they are going to move my car. i am car-​less in va right now and this fucking sucks. i had to inconvenience my roomate to deal with this in la because i had already bought my plane ticket to come home. this company sucks. avoid at all costs. they dont even deserve the one star i gave to them.
