I trained with Axe Capoeira for several years and the insights and expertise here are unmatched especially when it comes to capoeira! The team consists of Contra Mestre Camara who is a world renowned master of both Wing Chung and Capoeira. He is one of the best martial artists I’ve ever met in my life with one of the funniest and most caring personalities! Next is Alex who is a long time student of Contra Mestre Camara, he takes great pride in teaching students the multifaceted nature of the art form and is an exceptional martial artist and acrobat. Alex’s classes are insightful, fun, and intense! Overall, whether you’re an experienced capoeirista or can’t even pronounce the name yet its a phenomenal place to check out! They also have tons of shows across the state which are fun and entertaining!

I visited this gym on a bring a friend night. Having no idea what I was in for I decided to give it a 100% and I wasn’t disappointed.
The class was super intense and a ton of fun. The instructor was very knowledgable and as the class had everyone from the beginners to the more advanced she was able to teach the basics while providing advanced learning for those who knew more. Everyone in the class was super friendly and willing to give pointers for those who didn’t know the moves. This was a great place to learn something new and fun.
