This property is great. All new appliances, perfect location and very friendly staff. I want to thank Adam and Justin for helping with upkeep items, they keep everything in perfect working condition. You can tell these guys are here for a reason. because they’re the best!

This property is absolutely beautiful. The layout is unique and not found in any apartment complex. The maintenance team is amazing and the manager Albert is great! Always helpful, professional, and personable. Everyone at the office knows every tenant by name and they greet you the second they see you. They exceed in every aspect of customer service and really make you feel valued!

I have lived here for about 8 months. I can’t say enough good about the management, staff and maintenance crew. It’s great to come across people whom really seem happy and enjoy what they do. From the management to the grounds crew. (Adam & Justin Albert, Amanda)
Anytime I have had an issue (which have been few) I found everyone to be extremely responsive.
The apartments are well located and easy access to downtown Tempe as well as the airport. Comparatively speaking the size of this units are much larger compared to others in the area and for a much better price.
The grounds are always clean and well kept, trash is picked up at your door and dry cleaning can be dropped off and picked up in the office on a weekly basis.
I would highly recommend you check them out before you commit.

We moved to AZ from the Midwest. Camden Sotelo is in a really convenient location to so many restaurants, events, shopping etc. We chose this apartment complex because of the amazing location and all their amenities. This apartment provides an amazing pool, state of the art work out facility, two parking spots in a covered parking garage (you can’t find that anywhere else) and elevators. The leasing agents are always friendly and the most helpful and knowledgeable that I’ve ever had. From the moment i walked in to tour the apartments to the time i moved in and over the time I’ve spent as a resident at Camden Sotelo i have had the best experience. And you can’t deny how beautiful the apartments are. We have stainless steel appliances, tons of closet space, and doubled pain windows along with a laundry list of other amazing attributes. Great place! I can’t say it enough

We love to this community thinking that I was a good community but I was totally wrong I have the worst experience of my life :
1 you are the pool the for the airplane is the worst, the people in the weekend is horrible drinking etc
2 the management is horrible we could sleep people the people upstairs make a lot of noise so I when to the office to complain and they tell me they can do nothing because they didint speak English.
3 they stole my bicycle 3 TIMES
The worst think after 3 moths the a move out still receiving bills this is ridiculous

We have lived at Sotelo for almost three years. I can not fit enough of our great experience here. The complete staff are always willing to help in anyway they can. Anytime we have had a small or bigger problem in our «home» Justin was always on top of our issues. We can not say enough positive comments about the entire staff namely Liz, Adam and Tom as well as the property. We have so enjoyed living here. Thank you so much

Moved here a year and 6 months ago from our apartment in Scottsdale. It’s the perfect location next to the 202. Very convenient for my work and my wife’s. I feel like im on vacation when laying by the pool. There is always complimentary water and Starbucks coffee (not that Keurig crap). At night we simply put or trashcan outside our door and a trash service comes to pick it up. Easy peezy.
The staff is hands down the best! Front office gets an A and even an A+ when Albert is running the place. Adam and Justin fix and handle just about everything. They are always friendly! My dog likes them both. Lol
I would recommend this community to anyone looking for an upscale, safe place to live.

This place has the most amazing accommodations, the parking garages are underground! Very nicely kept and maintained. But honestly, hats off to both Adam and Justin who work in maintenance — they are by far the most reliable and hard working gentlemen I’ve ever had the pleasure of rendering any service for the unit in which I reside. The remaining staff are as helpful and cheery — are never problematic or even slightly indecent with the residents. I have to say, if this place’s rates weren’t so high — I would definitely continue to live here on the property. Again, one last shout out to Justin and Adam! :CD

I just helped my Son and his Girlfriend move from Houston to Camden Sotelo in Tempe. What a beautiful Apartment Community! The fitness center will work just fine when you can’t make it to the local LA Fitness. The pool and grill area is beautiful… resort like. The apartments are ridiculously spacious! My Son and his Girlfriend’s 2 bedroom apartment is just shy of 1500 square feet! To top that off, they have 2 reserved, underground parking spots. The Leasing Staff and Maintenance Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They really took great care of my kids. Thank you Miranda, Liz, and Justin!

This property has totally turned around by new manager. I am happy to say it is well managed. Beautiful apartments. Great pool and other amenities. Great location– close to walks, bike trails and hikes at Tempe Town Lake, Papago Park and the Hayden wash. Super central location close to the highway. Easy access to the whole Phoenix metropolitan area. We love living here. No issues.

We just moved in and my wife and I couldn’t be more pleased with the employees and the property. Justin and Adam (maintenance team) just helped us out with some move in projects and they couldn’t have been any more friendly and helpful. They were clearly busy and had other projects to attend to, but they never made us feel rushed and they took care of absolutely everything we needed. What a great 1^st impression, and a solid reassurance that we made the right choice when we decided to rent at Camden Sotelo!

We love Camden Sotelo! We have lived here for a little over a year and a half. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews — but this place is absolutely 5-​star worthy and here’s why:
Staff: The staff is incredible. They are dedicated to providing the best living experience to the residents. Any time we have had ANY issue, question, or concern, Albert or Amanda takes care of it, usually within the same day. The maintenance staff (Adam and Justin) is very prompt and thorough, even providing recommendations for us on how to upkeep our apartment. Besides being helpful, they are all just great people to talk to. We love stopping to talk to them about their families, life, and anything else going on! They also take any recommendations to heart — any ideas you have for improving the community, they consider and usually act on those!
Facilities: The gym and pool are the perfect size. Most of the time when we go to the gym, we usually have it to ourselves and it feels like our own personal in-​home gym. The pool is a great size for the complex and the furniture makes it easy to lounge outside and enjoy the sunshine. The pool is great because, unlike other places in Tempe, its not a constant party during the summer. The complex is a mix of young professionals, students, and families, so the pool area and shared facilities are never trashed, rowdy, or noisy. Its really nice!
Apartment: We live in the Jade model and we feel like we have our own house. We’ve NEVER had a noise issue (seriously, NEVER). It’s like we don’t even have neighbors! Yes, the planes can be loud with the windows open, but its never constant and we are willing to sacrifice a little plane noise for living close to the airport, ASU, nightlife and freeways (for easy commutes). The apartment itself is beautiful and so spacious. Everyone that comes over tells us how big our place is — and we are usually paying less than they do in rent! We honestly have the best of both worlds — feel like we live in our own house, with all the benefits of apartment living!
Our fantastic living experience here prompted me to write this review. Camden Sotelo and its staff is deserving of praise and recognition for all the great things that they do for their residents. We really appreciate it and love living here! We look forward to many more years with Camden :)

Camden Sotelo is an awesome property with a friendly, attentive, outstanding staff! The buildings are constructed very well and I love the property layout. Despite being so close to the airport (which is very convenient if you plan to have lots of out-​of-​town visitors like us) we NEVER hear the airplanes inside our apartment. The property is just big enough but also not so large that it feels like a maize. I believe units were originally designed as condos but during the housing market crash they were transformed into apartments — therefore, the floor plans are very well thought out and practical. The provided underground parking garage and security of the complex are also great. You get TWO parking spots (unheard of in most apartment complexes) which is practical if you plan to have two people with cars living in the unit. We moved from a 2200 square foot home out-​of-​state to a 1480 square foot unit in Camden Sotelo and have not missed our large house once!
You simply can’t beat the location of Camden Sotelo! There’s a cute park across the street, a larger park around the corner with a playground and basketball courts, and access to Tempe lake a few blocks away. It’s also situated near Papago Mountain/​Park, the Phoenix Zoo, and Desert Botanical Gardens. Across the bridge and you’re in the heart of downtown Tempe on Mill Street and it’s only a 8 – 10 minute drive to downtown Scottsdale. It’s also situated right off of the 202 highway which is very convenient.
We were nervous that with this property being so close to ASU, it would be filled with students and a college/​party zone. Although I’m sure there are some students living here, we haven’t had any issues and it seems like most residents are young adults/​families. Everyone is friendly and it has a nice community feel to it.
Our experiences with all staff have been great and they are friendly, approachable, and professional. Anytime I’ve made a request it’s been processed within 24-​hours.
We LOVE Camden Sotelo and it’s definitely a property to check out!

I moved into Camden Sotelo about 2 months ago. So far I have 0 complaints. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. Amanda and Albert, specifically are always there to answer questions in the office and via e — mail. My roomate and I love the amenities provided, which includes undergound covered parking. We live next to a nice courtyard with a grill and seating area. Another perk is that these buildings were originally built to be condos so concrete seperates each level as opposed to wood. We are on floor 1 and this really helps minimize the noise. We are close to ASU, Mill Ave and are right across the street to Orbit stops which can take you all over town, for free! We are also within 5 miles of tempe marketplace! I would highly recomment living here!

What a great community to live in! My wife and I moved here a year ago from the Midwest, and we’re not the most excited about going back to apartment living. Every concern we had about living in an apartment home was quickly laid to rest as soon as we moved in. The management team is fantastic, as well as the maintenance team. Camden Sotelo has won us over with the professional staff, and beautiful apartment homes. Every time we have guests in town, they are blown away by the upscale nature of our unit. Everything from the appliances, granite counters, to the tile and hardwood floors are just spectacular. You can truly tell the staff here is happy to work for Camden, as it shows in their attitude and genuine hospitality they show to my wife and I. We are grateful to have found such a great place to call home. Thank you Camden Sotelo!

I have lived in several apartments in the Tempe area and Camden Sotelo is the only one where I have chosen to renew my lease for a second year. The amenities are great and the apartments are very nice and spacious, we often get compliments from our visitors.
The staff and management are incredibly helpful and genuinely care about the residents. The maintenance crew is prompt and helps with regular upkeep such as changing lightbulbs and air filters.
The location is great, with easy access to Mill Ave and Old Town Scottsdale.
I highly recommend Camden to any apartment seekers!

I recently moved to Camden Sotelo in May. So far it has been a great experience. You can tell Amanda and Albert really care about the community. Amanda and Albert act very swiftly when things need to get done. I recently witnessed Albert walk out of his office in 110 degree weather to pick up trash that some person literally just left on the ground, that’s what you call a great property manager. The only one issue that I have is the inconsiderate neighbors who use the hallway trash as their own personal trash cans and stink up the hallway… other than that I have been very pleased with management and the community overall.

My home for almost two years now. THere are ups and downs with any place that you live but this place is overall awesome. Close to freeways, beautiful amenities and nice people :) the staff is always trying to please deal with Amanda or Albert!

I echo many of the comments in the reviews below. I do not live here; but I have visited and stayed with my sister on many occasions. I spent the last week at Sotelo on vacation.
The apartments are aesthetically nice, and the amenities (including the pool) are great.
But, as at least one other reviewer has mentioned, the walls are incredibly THIN. My sister and I struggled to sleep this week because we could hear a loud banging or stomping sound from the apartment above her (during early morning hours 2:00 — 5:00 AM). This has unfortunately been an ongoing problem. It’s unclear whether the tenant above is exercising, owns an elephant, or is merely walking around his or her apartment. If it is the case that the person is merely walking around, that speaks to the terrible construction of these apartments. I have never lived or been in an apartment where walking on the floor above projects so sharply to the apartment below.
This problem has been brought to management’s attention. Thus far, they have failed to address it and, instead, insist on increasing the rent.
