Dutch Bros Coffee

This is the best Dutch Bros I’ve been to so far in AZ. Because of this shop, I’ve switched from a casual Starbucks drinker to a few times a week Dutch Bros fan! I love their iced black tea with no sweetener (it has an after taste of peach) and their frozen German chocolate cake drink (great for the sweet tooth lover). The black and white hot chocolate is amazing, too!
They’re always friendly and actually like talking to their customers. It doesn’t feel like a forced conversation like some of the other branches. I’ll keep coming back to this one while I live in Tempe, it’s the best.

The only place to get a fix of that lovely concoction. Friendly staff every visit & close to the office so got to love that.

Yeah. I’m actually not a coffee drinker, but my wife and daughter are, so I started making trips here for them. It’s because of those visits that I found out about their «Rebel» or custom energy drink. Now when people ask me, «What’s your poison?», I say «Sugar-​free strawberry Rebel.» If you’re a Dutch Bros fan, you will understand.
The lines can sometimes be really long, but everything is usually so efficient that they move fast. The workers are friendly and are so peppy and happy that I swear they take coffee in an IV drip. One taste and you’ll know why no other coffee place can compare to Dutch.
After ten stamps on your stamp card, you get one free – can’t beat that. If you love Dutch Bros as much as my family does, you know that it doesn’t take long for that card to fill up! Yes, drink one for Dane.. .maybe two.

Every time I have come here there has been a problem. I waited in the drive through for 20 minutes and when I get up to the window they tell me their espresso machine isn’t working and I don’t get my latte. But I can get a freeze? Noooo, I want my latte. And I should have been told about it sooner so I could have left through the side and wouldn’t be almost late WITHOUT my coffee. They have given me regular milk instead of soy, gave me my drink without a straw. Just no luck with this location.
I stick to the location on Rural. Best service ever.

I’m obsessed with Dutch Bros Coffee! I always get the Iced Kicker and I highly recommend. I keep coming back for the friendly service. The cashiers don’t simply take your order, they ask about your day and hang out with you until your drink is made. They are very lively and conversational. If the line is long (and it often is, this is a popular place!) they will send out someone to take the orders from the people in line, even if it’s 115 degrees outside. I’ve heard the Dutch Bros business model before from a friend who worked there and it seems to really treat its employees well. I will continue to support this business that believes in hardworking students! I will say, however, if you are looking for a coffee shop with ample seating, this isn’t for you (there are only a few outdoor seats). Great coffee, great service.

Great service, great drinks! Workers always have a smile on their face even when they’re busy (always). Walk up to the window on the street side of the building instead of the drive thru for faster service! They offer punch cards and give treats for pups. Great place over all.

Great drinks, which I’ve found to be equally good at pretty much every Dutch Bros location I’ve been to. Great service at the Southern and Mill location, which is what keeps me coming back!
Grabbing a Dutch drink on my way to class is something that I always look forward to. I’ve only ever had great service at this spot, but two folks in particular always make my day. (And now I’m about to butcher the spelling of their names!) Shayla and Devin are awesome. They always remember my name, what I do, and what I drink. They even notice when I’m there at an irregular time! Some people would find this bothersome, but I think this is just a sign of excellent customer service.
Keep up the great job, folks! Thank you for fueling my way through my master’s degree!

Oh my goodness. I haven’t had coffee this good in ages. First time at Dutch Bros and ordered the Kicker (Irish crème blend), hot. It’s really nice to have something this early in the morning. They open at 5 AM, which is convenient, since I like to wake up around 4 or 5 AM, as I like to get a lot done in my day. They have a nearby location that’s open 24 hours.
I like the friendliness and hospitality here. Good staff! Helped me in making a good selection.

Dutch bro baristas love to chat! Be warned if you aren’t the talkative type– they want to know what you’re up to!

Awesomeness! Always. Always great coffee and urber friendly staff. Cheaper than Starbucks and better tasting.

I kept wondering why everyone raved about this place. Everyone who works here is super happy. They try and speed up service when it gets busy by taking your order further in line. The prices are decent and the sizes are perfect. Get the kicker blended! It is amazing and tou won’t regret it!

Need a pick me up? Not only will their triple bean roast perk up your spirits, their employees will have you driving a way with a smile on your face. I have never had a bad experience at any of the Dutch Bros locations and I highly doubt it will start now.
I can not wait for them to make it to the east coast now that I moved.

Great coffee there. Very good price as well. Lines are long and that is a good sign. I could do without the over the top personalities but that is in the brand I guess.

What a crazy concept! Drive thru coffee that people love (I’ve seen the line 20 cars long) at really good prices. The kids that work here all seem so happy with the upbeat music blaring and their infectious smiles.
If you are grumpy then go somewhere else, they brightened my day. Suzanne was awesome and she’s the reason I will come back!
Also had the green apple smoothie, pretty darn tasty I must say.

Drive thru coffee chain with personal service, friendly smiles and good coffee! Affordable, fast and fresh. I really liked hitting Dutch Bros whenever I could, during my stint in the Valley.
They made the perfect iced coffee. Not too sweet, but just perfect.

Im from CA and this is by far the only decent coffee place I have tried in AZ.
I seriously am so glad I was recommended here, if not I would hate AZ even more.
I LOVE the kicker so delicious and flat out perfect.

I stopped by here today for my first ever Dutch Bros. experience. It was awesome! The crew was extremely nice and helpful. I will be back many times for sure! My iced latte is amazing! I definitely recommend this place!

People from my office love this place so I decided to bypass the BIG «S» and go to Dutch Bros. I am so glad that I did. I ordered a hot Cocomo (chocolate and coconut) and loved it. I highly recommend giving Dutch Bros Coffee a try.
The second good thing about my experience is that the gal that took my order was very, very nice and friendly (and flirty). I understand that this is the case at all of their locations. Great customer service.

Without a doubt, a fun coffee experience with a very good product. That is how I can sum my Dutch Bros experience while traveling through Phoenix and Tempe.
If this is your first-​time visiting this location (close to ASU) or any other Dutch Bros location, be prepared to see and hear things that you normally don’t from coffee baristas and other employees that take your order from outside of the building. My impression: very laid back, very customer service oriented, fun, and enthusiastic. I’ve only gone through the drive-​thru and haven’t had the opportunity to seat myself, yet had a good experience each time regardless.
A family member and myself drove to this location from the South Mountain area (15 – 20 minutes) just for coffee. We were both given stamp cards that were almost filled out and good for a free coffee upon the next visit, which I thought was a very good marketing hook to have me return. Although appreciated (I’ll take them all day long), what had me coming back was the customer service as well as the coffee. The iced coffee choices is a cut above Starbucks (in my opinion) and about 25−30% less in price. The expressos? Wow! You get quite a bit for your money, and yes, they cost less than Starbucks. I tried one of their Granola bars, which is oh so soft and full of flavor. And yes, for less money than competitors.
Dutch Bros, you all have got me hooked! I’ll definitely return.
