DONOTTAKEANYTHINGHERE!!! I took my perfectly running 2009 CRF450r here to have a shift fork and 5th gear replaced. Robert was able to test ride the bike around the parking lot the day I dropped it off to verify that it wouldn’t stay in 5th gear. Other than than that, the bike ran great. No motor problems whatsoever. During the process of «fixing» my bike I had to pay for a cam shaft bearing that they broke while putting the top end back together, and I also had to pay for their gas to go get the part that THEY broke. After 2 months of tearing by bike apart and putting it back together they still were not able to get my bike running again. After losing all confidence in their ability to get my bike back to running order, I requested to have me bike back. They wouldn’t give me my bike until I paid them $ 550 for the«work» they had done. After getting my bike back and taking it to another shop to fix what Maxim cycle screwed up, I found that they had stripped out about a dozen bolts in my frame and motor and had drilled and retapped them to cover up the mistakes. The top end was also missing guide dowels and they had ruined the gasket kit that I bought and provided. Instead of gaskets, my motor was put back together with some sort of blue silicone in place of the gaskets. It cost me another $ 2500 for a complete motor rebuild to fix everything that Maxim cycle broke. Spare yourself a lot of time, money & frustration, and take your machine somewhere reputable.

If you guys are looking for motorcycle, quad, ATV, enduros and cruiser repair, try MAXIMCYCLE in Tempe. I took my quad to Maxim today and they had it fixed in an hour. Really nice people and were priced accordingly. Excellent service and the employees were really nice to chat with. I’ll never go back to Kelly’s Kawasaki; their price was three times higher!
