I had such a great experience with Monica at Salon 7000! I had the groupon for a cut, partial highlights, wash, and a blowout. Monica was very personable and FAST — I have very thick hair, and a lot of it, so for a cut, wash, color, and blowout it usually takes about 3 – 4 hours, but Monica was done with it all in an hour and a half. Needless to say, she knows what she is doing. She knew what kind of color I wanted/​needed before I even said anything and did exactly as I asked with the highlights and cut. The other stylists were very nice too, and overall I had a great experience at the salon.

Monica is an excellent hair stylist! After going to cheap hair places for years I finally tried Monica’s service and I will never go back! She really knows her stuff and is always open to try new things! I came in not really knowing what I wanted and she had a handful of ideas that I loved! I would and do recommend Monica to my friends and family.

Not only is she creative with my fine and straight hair, but Monica Lanter is also brilliant with my 2 daughters thick and very curly hair! Monica Lanter has always gone above and beyond her natural talent and continued her education to make sure we keep our hair current, as I believe in expressing myself through my hair styles and creative color, in which Monica Lanter is considered an EXPERT in both areas! Monica Lanter did my hair for YEARS until she moved away from me! In a world where I can’t control much I feel like my hair is something I can control (with a little help from my friends) and I love to change up my hair. There is no end to Monica’s creativity. Different cut? No problem. Different color? She’s on it!
As talented as Monica is as a hairdresser she is that much more spectacular in how she handles people. She has always been very gentle — never forcing me to do something I didn’t want to. She even fixes my mistakes without judgement if I ever get a wild hair and decide to do something myself.
I recently visited Chandler to check out her new (to me) place of business and it’s really cool. Lots of local art cycling through and a comfortable environment.
I highly recommend Monica for hairstylist services — especially if you are looking for a transformation. She can update a tired, old style like nobody’s business!

Monica really pays attention to detail. She asks questions, runs her fingers through your hair a bit to know its texture, looks at your face shape, and makes sure she knows how you usually handle your hair before she begins. She is very quick, precise, incredibly sweet, and among all things, affordable. I’ve paid double for lesser quality cuts and styles. You will not be disappointed!
