Cool spot on Mill with excellent food. I’ve had the Eggs Benedict before, but this time I tried the Chipotle Egg Burrito and it hit the spot. Great vibe and awesome staff, definitely a well managed restaurant!

If your looking for a breakfast place with lots of choices, healthy and non healthy this is the place to go! I have been more times than i can count and I have never been disappointed. If you go early in the morning the lines aren’t long, and you beat the brunch crowd! Highly recommend.

5 stars because this is the best omelette I have ever eaten! I had the Pear, which is full of bacon, pears, almonds, and a mad amount of cheese! Comes with a side– all for $ 9. Ncounter lives up to its already amazing reviews. Keep it up guys!

My wife and I went for the delicious chilaquiles to celebrate her b-day. She encountered a small problem and let a server know. The manager on 6/3, Daniel, was so incredibly helpful. He was friendly and quickly solved the issue. His professional and welcoming manner made us feel both comfortable and special. We love Ncounter for the food and now, we adore it for the service as well. Daniel is terrific! We’ll be back and will for sure order the chilaquiles and lemon pound cake.

Great breakfast in a cute little spot. We sat on the patio since the weather was great. Place is a bit cramped but worth it. Loved that it’s dog friendly.

Very busy place, which is a great sign! My hubby had the Bananas Foster French Toast which he loved and I had the Simple breakfast with scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon and toast. I loved the potatoes and they also provided butter and jelly on my plate without having to ask! I loved that. We will visit again soon.

It was my first time trying the lunch here and the place was packed before noon on a Friday afternoon. Really tough finding a seat, but that was the worst part of the lunch. The sandwich I ordered, which I can’t recall the name, had sliced turkey, bacon, cheddar and the key ingredient of sliced granny smith apples. It was those apples that gave this sandwich its unique taste and great flavor. Try the pasta salad as well, it was homemade and tangy good.

So i got banana foster french toast and i was really looking forward to loving it seems how everyone said it was good here on Unilocal.I dont know what french toast they had but mine was disgusting. The sauce was so slimey it didnt even stick to my french toast or soak in it just layed on top of it. i LOVE Bananas foster and this was NOT bananas foster. Not to be graphic here but the sauce was almost like snot. Slimey and wouldnt pull away from the fork. I had to cut it. Let me repeat. I had to CUT sauce. I took it up with an employee who just seemed to not care and acted like i didnt know what i was saying. I then took it to the front and asked for something else. The manager i believe exchanged my meal for something else. I ended up with the breakfast burrito and it was amazing. The potatos were also amazing. Would i be back? Its very unlikely.

I gave this 3 stars because I got the morning glory omelet and it honestly wasn’t that great. Just didn’t do much for me. The potatoes were good though. The rest of my party had delicious food. Someone had the biscuits and gravy, which were really good. The chipotle breakfast burrito was really good and the bananas foster French toast was really really good. There was a long line, but it went quickly. Great service.

I love this place. Food is always amazing and the staff is always very friendly! The French toast is one of my favorites. There was one time when my pancakes come out undercooked. I told the busboy who promptly took them away and got a new short stack cooking for me. They brought me a cinnamon roll to snack on while I waited. This is the only«bad» experience I’ve ever had and it doesn’t even qualify as bad, as they took care of me. The patio is also dog friendly

Simply a great place to stop in and enjoy some morning chomp. Been coming here since just after they opened and have always had good food and great coffee. Let the kids spin you up a tasty smoothly.

I came here with my friend around ~10 or 11 am on a Saturday, and the place was packed. The line was nearly out the door. You order at the counter, get a number, and then find a table at which a waiter will come find you with your meal. I ordered the Original Chop Salad [$ 10] because the pictures that I had seen of it online were gorgeous. My friend had the Classic Eggs Benedict [$ 9]. The chop salad is as beautiful as it looks in pictures. It’s delicious too. The salad dressing is a light pesto sauce that coats your salad just enough. I hate when the dressing is so overpowering or when the salad is drenched in sauce. There were some spots on the street available(you have to pay by the hour), so it wasn’t too much of an issue.

I just can’t get excited about this place. I’ve been several times and I would be hard pressed to remember what I ordered each time… besides that time I was on vacation and had many melon mimosa things at brunch. The food is fine, the service is prompt, and it mostly makes me miss SF or the east coast where this whole type of thing works much more efficiently with better food. Breakfast is okay, but there are better options if you can venture farther away from Mill Ave. Lunch is… forgettable. I feel like I have a special brand of NCounter amnesia as I cannot for the life of me remember anything about the last two(recent!) lunches I had there. If you like food at usual times of the day in the most inoffensive locale ever, this place is for you. Also, get a melon mimosa breakfast drink thing. They are good.

Ncounter was a great introduction to my weekend trip to Arizona! I flew into Phoenix the night prior without an itinerary but it all worked out! I’m an early bird and they open at 7 which was perfect! I ordered their House Request in addition to their Banana Walnut Pancakes. Their portions are very generous! There was so much walnuts cooked into the pancakes and placed on top! The bananas weren’t too sweet and it went well with the maple syrup. The House Request has cream cheese and a fried egg inside, tomatoes and onions. I don’t eat red meat or poultry so it was nice they had options! The sandwich was so hardy and it wasn’t too heavy. They also have a separate espresso bar. The décor of the place was very modern. There was plenty of natural lighting and wood grain table tops. It is a self serve hybrid kind of restaurant. There are plenty of metered street parking. I did notice a parking structure that also may provide parking. Ncounter is located right on the corner. It was easy to find and there was plenty of other businesses around. Given that I had limited time to explore, I only scoped out a fraction of the area. There is a cool chalk board right outside that I’ve never seen before that allows anyone to leave a positive message for the entire day. Messages are washed away the next morning. Overall, I had a great experience. The food was delicious, the facilities were clean and the service was good. I would come back again on my next visit!

For a counter-service breakfast and lunch place N’Counter is among the best. Prices are very reasonable and the food is fresh. While you should always tip service-industry professionals, the nice thing about counter service is that you generally don’t have to tip as much, saving some money. This place gets very busy with the Mill Ave. business lunch crowd plus ASU students, so arrive early. It can quickly get crowded inside. The outdoor patio is a better option except in the hottest months(they do offer misters). Sneak around the back side for a quieter table. Entrees I’d recommend include the Morning Glory Omelette and the Mediterranean Salad, but there are plenty more I want to try!

Easily one of my favorite breakfast places in Tempe! It comes across as high-end, but casual at the same time. Whether you’re a sweets for breakfast person, or are more a fan of the savory omelet, eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy side of the aisle, Ncounter does it all very well. They also offer a variety of well-done breakfast cocktails like mimosa, greyhounds, and bloody marys. So far I have not been disappointed by anything I’ve tried here. The omelets I’ve had here have been incredibly fresh, all the ingredients certainly chopped/cooked on the spot. They have so many options when it comes to additions that I’m certain anyone can find something they’ll like. Ncounter can get pretty creative, I personally appreciate the Greek and pear omelets, as well as the variety of eggs benedict combinations. I’ve also tried the french toast and it was very fluffy, perfectly fried. Also, the french toast was huge portion-wise. I’m not sure how they do it, if they just have giant loaves of homemade bread or what but it works. Ncounter is upscale on the inside, but carries a laid-back vibe. You order at the counter, are given a number, and its up to you to find a table to have your food delivered to. This can be one of the only downsides(though a good problem for them to have) is that finding a table on a weekend can be pretty challenging. They do have misters on the patio but in the heat of summer they only help so much. Overall, Ncounter is great place for breakfast/brunch on the weekend, especially with their extensive cocktail selection if you’re into that. For what you get, it’s not much more expensive than any other decent breakfast place in town however I don’t see it being the best place for families/kids. Breakfast is going to run you $ 10 per person, $ 15ish if you get a mimosa or something like that but I can sincerely say the quality is well worth it, you won’t be disappointed. Get there early enough to hunt down a decent table and you’re golden. I wouldn’t recommend the patio after 10⁄11 in the summer.

I was up at 4 a.m. today. Did a load of laundry, watered the plants, highlighted my hair, did some cleaning, unloaded the dishwasher, cleaned the pool, and patiently waited for my husband to wake up. At 6:30 I pretended to drop something and woke him up. I said, «Hey! Wanna try someplace new for breakfast???» He got dressed, put on his shades, and got in the car. I love that man so much. My goal was to get to Ncounter right when they open because I have read about how busy they get. I really liked how pleasant and sunny the restaurant was, and ordering at the counter was easy. We got the Greek omelet, the basic 2-egg breakfast with bacon, and a mocha. They have nice sized water cups too. This time of year I really appreciate that. My Greek omelet was really nice. Full of veggies and feta cheese. Great flavors. I also enjoyed the rye toast and what tasted like homemade apple cinnamon preserves. Mr. M’s 2 egg breakfast was very good as well. The bacon was OUTSTANDING! And I wish I would have shoved the toast aside to get a picture of the potatoes that came with his breakfast. They were fried or roasted to a nice golden brown and really went well with the egg yolks. My mocha was delicious as well. Did I see they use Press coffee? That totally makes sense. I loved it. With two breakfasts and the mocha, the total was $ 21.62 before tip. I did happen to notice all the very fit people in the restaurant who looked like they just biked around Tempe Town Lake, or climbed that hill to the east of the restaurant. I did none of those things. Maybe next time.

I came here for breakfast with my love & my Oreo aka my puppy. It was a Sunday so it was a bit packed. I ordered the N counter omelette. This has all of my favorites in it. chicken, mushrooms, broccoli, cream cheese and hollandaise sauce. Everything was amazing, however I wish it came with more of the Hollandaise sauce. I also ordered the Melon Patch cocktail. This wasn’t anything amazing to it. I really like this place a lot. The food is good and I like their outdoor patio and the fact that it’s dog friendly so I can take my puppy. They’ll even bring out a bowl of water for her. The only negative is I wish it was more restaurant style instead of waiting in line to order at the counter. Great place for breakfast/brunch though.
