Went in to have a few old silver and gold coins looked at, had the worst experience ever with the man behind the counter. My whole experience lasted less than 5 minutes and it was awful. Took one look at one of the coins and declared it worth five dollars, when in actuality the coin in and of itself is .925 silver and therefore logically worth it’s weight. Even if that’s not true, his attitude was extremely superior and he was unwilling to let me get a word in edgewise. People don’t just come to places like these to make a sale, and I think their employee needs to remember that being a rude know it all who doesn’t bother to explain anything to the customer is not going to reflect well on the business. I had questions about the coins and others that I have at home, but I won’t be asking here! Update: upon vising another gold buyer in town, the gold coin that this man declared essentially worthless was worth $ 95.
