I was critically injured in a car accident 40 years ago. I’ve gone to many chiropractors and body workers since that time. I can say with experience that Dr. Dardon is an outstanding chiropractor. He’s very skillful at doing adjustments because he’s strong enough to be gentle and this allows him to be precise. In other words, I’ve seen doctors who aren’t – and so they are off balance and forceful. That’s one of the things that sets him apart and because of that, he’s one of the only two doctors, I have ever trusted to adjust my neck. Those of you who have had chiropractic treatments will understand the meaning and importance of that. He listens to your particular problem and is focused on your session. Many doctors have a set protocol and are in the business of selling packages and products. Dr. Dardon is 100% about getting you straightened out so your body is functioning optimally and can heal. He’s thorough and compassionate. He does more preliminary body work(stretching/massage) to relax and prepare your body than most other chiropractors I’ve seen. This facilitates the adjustments – which makes the treatments even more effective. He explains what he’s doing beforehand and«checks in» with you along the way. I felt like he was working with me and connected – rather than just working on me. I know some people may not be familiar with chiropractic so they might be concerned about adjustments and/or how it all works and Dr. D is really good at putting you at ease, making sure you are comfortable, informed and have the best treatment and result possible. I’ve called Dr. D when my body needed a tuneup but also when I’ve been hurt or in a lot of pain. I always feel better afterwards – without fail. He’s now mobile(brilliant idea) and it’s such an affordable luxury to have him come to you! Besides being an excellent doctor he’s also a great person. He’s knowledgeable, very genuine, honest and dedicated to his profession and in helping his patients. I highly recommend him.

I have a neck and shoulder injury that knocks me out of commission every few months. Dr. Dardon’s adjustments are nothing short of a miracle in my book. I feel completely different after the body work is complete. Great guy. Excellent understanding of the spine and neck.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Dardon since he began his career more than 20 years ago in the early 90’s. I injured my back carrying a tall lamp down some deep stairs. After a few weeks of pain I made an appointment to see Dr Dardon. From the first visit the pain was alleviated. I since have seen Dr Dardon regularly to keep aligned and for minor aches and pains. Dr Dardon is professional, knowledgable and kind. I would recommend Dr Dardon. His mobile chiropractic business is extremely convenient for busy customers and those who have difficulty getting to the office due to injury or lack of transportation. He is affordable which is another plus.

I’ve seen Dr. Dardon for over 15 years, and now see him once or twice a month for adjustments – as I’ve learned that is the key to ongoing good body health. He is very experienced, knowledgeable, does not push ANYTHING on you, no add-ons. He probably should as seeing him on a regular basis has changed my life. I used to go only when something happened, lower back pain, etc. But recently I had shoulder pain for over 3 months with no help from my regular doctor, Physical Therapy(tremendously time-consuming and didn’t even work), acupuncture. i did not think this was a chiropractic issue but in desperation, I made an appt. He asked alot of questions, warmed up my muscles with an excellent«massage» that compliments adjustments, and as things moved along, it knew I was at the right place. I walked out pain-free for the first time in over 3 months, got back to my 3x/week workouts with no pain and NO, THISISNOTANINFOMERCIAL! My 85 year old neighbor who is 6’4″, still skiis and is very active – said he has had monthly adjustments his entire adult life and attributes this to his good health. That sold me. I saw Dr. Dardon now once a month(or as needed) worth every cent and at $ 40, it sure does not break the bank. I also get a massage from Chu-Hui or Mai in conjunction with the adjustment, all comes in well under $ 100 and I leave walking on air. I like the vibe there, they are personable, normal, nice people. The masseuses(INCLUDING Therese whose hours don’t match mine, but is excellent) are exceptionally good, being in a doctor’s office. You may get the impression from the building it is a small operation – but it is professionally run, extremely clean, you are taken promptly and given all the time you need and. Looking back on chiropractors I saw before Dr. Dardon, I can see they were mostly a factory for insurance amd car accidents or anything they could cook up. Dr. Darden in the real thing. He is in it for your health. He probably SHOULD be a little pushier, as regular adjustments are life-changing. I over 15 years, I have had only good experiences and recommend him as I have never had one pain, and no problems ever. I have complete confidence in him. I like that he runs a business with and«old-fashioned» personable approach, and an honest, and good work ethic-but top notch work. Can’t do better than that. Try him/them! He should be rated #1CHIROPRACTORINPASADENA1

called to inquire about a massage or appt. with the doctor. He hung up on me after I tried to make an appt. and offered to pay cash, as he was concerned I was 65 and was not accepting medicare patients. May be the case, but seemed unnecessarily rude.

So far, so good. Had my first session with Dr. Dardon. In all honesty… he’s actually a good price for a chiropractic practice. $ 40 for a session… versus $ 60+ for the ones I’ve seen. Luckily, my insurance will eventually cover my sessions with him after I pay him the deductible copay. Yes, he accepts insurance. Talk to him first and he’ll tell you what information he needs. I filled out all my forms(in detail) and had a consultation with him where he asked me a bunch of questions regarding my back pain. I was diagnosed with a scatica and low back pain from my acupuncturist. I do have lower back pain. I have no idea why. I sit straight. I stretch daily. I workout. Eat right. Practice safe techniques to protect my back… but yet… I have bad low back pain :/(No, it won’t stop me from working out… I NEED to workout). She recommended I see a chiropractor. Dr. Dardon is so nice. I kept pushing my time back with him and I came 15min late to the appointment. I felt so bad. I got lost because I never heard of Pasadena Ave(been working in Pasadena for 3 years) and thought it was in San Marino/S. Pas area… yeah. He told me directions after calling me to check where I was. Haha… Found it! PARKING: Street parking. It doesn’t seem like it gets busy so there should be parking available. We went over some of my symptoms and he explained how my spine should look because I ASK A LOTOFQUESTIONS. I need to know what is going on with my back and how it should be and what he’ll do. So he told me potential causes for my back pain and gave me some tips. Then he did the back session with me. He told me what he was going to do before touching me — which I appreciate because… like everyone, I don’t like being touched by people I don’t know(esp men). I need to know what to expect. So he would tell me what he was going to do. He helped crack a lot of my joints. I was scared about the neck cracking because I always associate that with ‘breaking a person’s neck’… but it did feel good but SCARY. He massaged my back a little bit and was aggressive. He’s a big guy(football figure) and so he is strong. I didn’t mind because my body needed to get adjusted. I want to be fixed! So he cracked my body and helped me stretch(but I’m pretty flexible and I stretch daily) but it did help my upper back that was tense. My upper body and neck muscles felt so tense when I went in and it felt better when I came out. My lower back was the same, but it takes time. I did feel sore afterward. It felt like I got a deep tissue massage — and it felt like one when he did the massage which is good because Deep Tissue Massage is great for sports injury and tension. So I think my body needed it. He’s really a nice guy. I had a nice long conversation with him about his practice and degree and my back situation and he gave me some advice on my sitting and sleeping positions. I know it was because I was the last patient so he had time to talk. Usually he’s busy in the practice. Totally understand. Business. :D I haven’t done the massage therapists yet. I have my accupressure massages so I’m usually good. I may try them one day but I don’t need to til I’m done with accupressure. Although I do love being pampered… I rather have the doctor work on me to put my spine back together. So far, so good. Of course it’s my first visit, so I won’t feel the effects until I see him many other times. I also need to get use to the cracking of my body. I always freak out when I hear something crack or just doesn’t sound normal. So I’ll update this review later. But this is the initial visit and so far so good. NOTES: * He speaks Spanish fluently! * Cash or Check Only * If you have insurance, let him know first * Appointment preferred but you can call to check if he is open * You can make appointments online

I suffered from horrific allergies and upper respiratory problems for years. The medical doctors were all very happy to load me up with medications which I had swallowed for 25 years. I was miserable. I had heard that being out of alignment could affect various organs and processes in the body, so I started seeing Dr. Dardon for adjustments every week for six months, and ended up with minimal allergy symptoms and NO illnesses whatsoever for two years and completely off the liver-taxing medications altogether! If you knew how often I’d been sick, you’d understand what a miracle this is. I have continued to see Dr. Dardon even though my medical insurance has changed and I now pay out-of-pocket. I’d sure rather lay out $ 40 as a cash payment to him than $ 20 co-pay to my medical doctor and $ 45 in prescription co-pays for all the allergy meds. Dr. D. is also amazing at explaining the spine and nerves to a lay person so that one can understand what’s going on. It’s also a comfortable office and, while not Rodeo Drive standards, it’s clean and cozy and completely unpretentious. Do yourself a favor, and make your appointment for chiro today, and don’t forget to add on the inexpensive massage hour-long treat for only $ 39. You just can’t beat it!

Wow! Only one review? Cash price awesome… adjustment great… massages omg! The three massage therapists are wow… My friends know I’m a spa whore and love getting pampered. Through the help off groupon I’ve cheated on my girls at fancy places only to be left frustrated. If you can pass up the fancy water fountains, sauna and flavored water… you can not beat the end result of an amazing massage at this place and for $ 39??? Please tip well ;)
