Sterling Optical

So I went for my annual eye exam the other day at the Sterling Optical in Iverson Mall. I wear glasses but I was determined to get sunglasses. I am trying something new this year… sunglasses and contacts only. Dr. Omuryi put an end to that plan. She reminded me that «your eyes need to rest, so you need to take a break from wearing contacts, just as you require your daughter to have a backup pair of frames you need a back up to your contact lenses and your back up can’t be another pair of contact lenses.» I couldn’t argue with that. Dr. Omuryi was very thorough and is very passionate about eye care. Now onto the fun stuff… SHOPPING FOR SUNGLASSES !! and eyeglasses… So as it turns out the person helping me choose my glasses owns the place. Very cool lady, she convinced me that she would show me some frames that I would love as much as the Gucci Sunglasses I picked out. I was determined not to like anything she showed me. Until she pulled out the Frieze. WHAT !!! HAUTE HAUTE HAUTE !! I got a matte black pair and a turquoise pair. I post a picture when I pick them up next week. Awesome service, Awesome frames !!! My daughter is getting her eye exam when I go back… can’t wait to see what she picks out !

I have worn glasses since I was very young; so shopping for them has always been a mundane experience. Until now! From the moment I walked into the sterling optical in Iverson Mall, I knew I was in for a different and great experience. The clean, stylish décor of the store, the knowledgeable staff, and the wonderful selection of fashionable frames made me immediately realize that this is how shopping for glasses is supposed to be.
I was able to see the eye doctor to get my most up to date prescription on my first visit, then was given excellent help in selecting some really nice frames. They were even able to fit my prescription in sunglasses which is something I never had the luxury of wearing in the past. Sterling Optical in Iverson Mall is my go-​to spot for eyewear, and I would highly recommend anyone who wears glasses or contacts and who also likes stylish eyewear to give them a visit!

I recently visited this location. My insurance company referred me. I was very pleased with the level of service received there. The opticians were very knowledgable. They explained every eye glass treatment to me as well as they had a very nice selection of frames. The doctor was professional and caring. I even found out I could finance my glasses without any interest. My glasses were done the same day. They even invited me back for a trunk show. The prices were affordable I highly recommend them. Very informative and fashion conscious
