I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to get away from the typical IHOP and other fast food chain, sit down restaurants. This is a little nook family run restaurant where the husband/wife manage the place and are extremely proud of their food and atmosphere — as well as they should be. The food was excellent and the service beyond friendly. felt like you were eating back at your mom’s/grandma’s…very welcoming to say the least. We will definitely be back…

Looking for a good breakfast place that’s not one of the big named placed. This place was close to home and have been wanting to try it out. Glad we did! Good and service was great and we will be back for sure.

This place is so warm and cozy. Just like many other reviewers have stated previously, it’s just like eating at your grandparents house! The owners are so nice and inviting. They do need to get a little bit of extra help, as the service was a bit slow. But our waitress was so sweet and sincere, we didn’t mind the wait at all. My biscuits and gravy were a bit lacking in seasoning but besides that it was delicious. Boyfriend got an omelette which was huge in portion as well as flavor. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back. Over all, it was a great experience for us.

The servers were out of it, our server didn’t check up on us and kept forgetting items we would request. Maybe they were tired, or maybe they were stoned. Except the sweet older lady, she was very attentive and picked up the slack for the other 2 servers. The food quality was ok, a little cold but it was alright. Not a fan of the mold on the sealing and the carpet floor. I wish there was a Unilocal for the older lady cause she was very nice and warm welcoming. Unfortunately I’m gonna give this a 2 star. If it wasn’t for the nice lady it’s a definite one star.

This place is a hidden gem. Second time there and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service. If you like goat cheese, try the Limousine omelette. Soups are homemade, veggies are fresh! We will be back again.

As I’m pondering where to get breakfast in the USF area I come across this supposedly hidden gem from prior Unilocal reviewers. To begin, our food came out 10 minutes after our neighbors whom ordered 5 minutes after us. Once the food came out, my hash browns were hardly cooked and the avocado not ripe. At no point did our server come over to ask how our experience or food was or inquire about a refill. I would have given 1 star if it wasn’t for the sweet older women at the counter. In the end I hope they tighten up food quality and service.

The eggs Benedict wasn’t anything special, but it was good. The service was on point and the little old lady that works there is adorable and so sweet! It’s a cute little restaurant tucked into the corner of a strip mall and you definitely can’t see it from the road. I’m definitely going back. Even if the other food isn’t mind blowing the lady made the experience worth repeating.

I decided to give this place a try since it was the closest brunch place near me, and I didn’t feel like waiting for first watch. It’s a very cozy little place, it almost feels like your in someone’s home. There’s French music playing in the background and a nice little old lady was my server. She constantly checked up on me and asked me if I needed anything. The service was great, my food came out very quickly and the portions are pretty good too. The menu has your basics for breakfast and a few items that definitely catch your eye, like the French omelette. They also serve lunch entrees but it’s more than just sandwiches, which is awesome. The chicken cordon bleu was very tempting. My friend got the biscuits and gravy. The gravy was very bland. Instead I got the basic good morning breakfast with a side of grit. The eggs were seasoned well, and the grits was average. The pancakes were good. It was a little dense but the flavor was spot on. I Would definitely come here again to try out some of the other items. Update: went there again and got chicken cordon bleu and special omlette with goat cheese and veggies. It was phenomenal! Very flavorful. My only downside is the waiter. The older woman is such a pleasure to talk to but the younger waiter is not very pleasant and we had to wait till our meal was over to get a refill on water. She never came by us once.

Outstanding little«mom and pop» place for breakfast. Portions were large. Service was friendly. Great change up from the commercial breakfast spots. My girlfriend said the grits were«the best I’ve ever had!»

Average breakfast. I wasn’t impressed. My scrambled eggs tasted plain. I only enjoyed the potatoes. Tasted decent. They don’t have a lot of options to choose from. Service wasn’t that great either. The waitress had forgotten my ketchup. I had to ask another waitress for it.(The old lady waitress was very accommodating unlike my waitress) After my plate was cleared off the table my waitress passed by three times & didn’t say or do anything. It should’ve be been obvious I was ready for the check. Or she could’ve at least asked if I enjoyed the food. Nope, nothing. I then had to ask for the check because she couldn’t put the clues together. It wasn’t even busy while I was there! I’m not returning back to this place.

Salmon(like a dinner entrée type not smoked) egg white omelet no butter incredible. Special made with care and love. Hole in the wall, lovely. Go here.

The décor could use some work, i.e. Vinyl table clothes and mismatched knick knacks but the omelets are light and fluffy. This place reminds me of mom and pop diners in the south. Good food, cheap prices and service that could use an upgrade. Our original younger server needed some work on manners but the older woman who took over was great.

Oh Oui Oui! The owners run their own little mom and pop, it’s just cozy and feels like a european bed and breakfast. We were seated and served quickly. The owner/chef brought it out. He took great pride in his food.

I really can’t say enough about how lovely this place is. My fiancée and I were looking for a place we’ve never been for breakfast and this gem came up on out map right down the street from us. We went and genuinely fell in love with it. Our server was great and it just feels so comfortable and homey in there, when my parents came to visit we took them there with our 4 yr. old and they loved it just as much as we did. My little one had bunny shaped chocolate chip pancakes! And the good is seriously fresh and incredible. I will definitely be back again and again.

I was dissapointed considering the high star rating this restaurant has. We came at 10am on a Saturday. The restaurant was not packed, but there was only one waitress working. The restaurant is small, cute and cozy. However, upon entering, me and my party of 5 were not seated for 15 minutes. Once seated, no one came to our table to even take our drink order for another 15 minutes. Once we ordered the food it took 20 minutes to come. The food was alright, not anything special really. The chef and his wife came out and they were both very sweet to us, and apologized for the long wait which was nice. Overall, average experience, probably will not return.

This place is in the same location as The Brunchery back I the 1990s. It’s a sleepy little restaurant that serves generous portions. The food is unremarkable beside the portion size. The upside is the service was very friendly from the chef/cook. He made my visit remarkable and is the reason I would return.

Great food, just need a little help with service. Maybe they were short a person when we went, they definitely need one more person serving.

Visiting the area, looked at Unilocal but did not find much and had almost resigned ourselves to going to a chain restaurant until we discovered this charming breakfast/lunch spot. It is a small, cozy place with knick knacks on the shelf as you walk in. You will also see the black board with the day’s specials as you walk in. The place specializes in omelets and crepes. Many of the omelets are a step up from the usual diner fare such as salmon, Cuban(included all the Cuban sandwich meats & grilled onions), & goat cheese, which was a special that day.. Husband & I had the salmon and 9 year old had the Cuban. All were fantastic! 10 year old had a cheeseburger which was delicious. Besides the breakfast items there are lunch items such as chicken and fish plates. Most items are $ 8 – 9. Some of the specials are a bit more. Service was very friendly and pretty fast. A young woman served us, but the owner, a French woman took care of us and chatted with us as well. Definitely a place I would recommend and visit on a future trip to the area.
