Would give him 0 stars, but unfortunately, He has to get 1 to warn people about his poor service. Took a DS to be repaired, and he said it would be completed by next week, but for an additional fee it would be repaired in two days. It has been 2 weeks and he still has not completed the repair, and is never there to pick up my item. He runs a poor business and I will never do any business with him ever again

There is definitely a reason this place is called«Crazy» Dad’s. On Monday I took my ipad in to get the screen replaced. It was 100% functional when I brought it in. I needed to get the screen replaced in order to take it on an airplane on Thursday(to entertain my three year old). The guy(who says his name is Jack), assured me it would be done on Tuesday morning and that he would call me when it was done. Tuesday came and went. No phone call. On Wednesday I called to see if I could come pick it up. He said«oh, they didn’t call you, did they?»(I still don’t know who they are because I have only ever seen one person in the shop). I replied that no one had called me. He proceeded to tell me that the LCD had been broken(obviously by him, since it was working when I brought it in) and that I could expect it to be ready on Thursday or Friday morning. I explained to him, that I desperately needed it by Thursday morning so I could take it on the airplane. He said he would check with some other local shops and see if they had the part needed to fix it and that HEWOULDCALLMEBACK. Nope. No phone call. We called him back late Wednesday afternoon and he said he was still«waiting for some phone calls back», and that HEWOULDCALLUSBACK later. Nope. Nada. We decided to postpone our trip since the idea of taking my daughter on the airplane without any entertainment sounded like a nightmare to me. So we waited patiently for him to call back. Thursday passed, Friday passed, NOPHONECALL. On Saturday Morning(today) we called and he told us he didn’t know when it would be ready. He hadn’t «checked the mail yet». But that he would CALLUSBACK when he had some more information. I asked him what kind of discount he was going to give us for this mishap(After all, the ipad was in working condition when we brought it in). I told him that 4 months earlier he had replaced the screen for $ 75 and now he was charging $ 125 for the exact same service. I suggested to him that he replace the screen and make the repairs to the damage he caused for $ 75, since he had very recently charged that amount and could obviously afford to do it for that amount. The phone went silent for a good 20 seconds. He(angrily) told me to come pick up my broken and unusable ipad and take it somewhere else. He would not fix it. At this point, I decided I really didn’t want him touching my ipad any more, so I went in to pick it up. When I came in, he would not speak to me, just handed me the ipad. I asked him if he was going to apologize for the damage to my ipad and the inconvenience he had caused my family. He said he would not apologize. He told me to take it to Mobile geeks and that they would charge me more than $ 125 for the service. Yes, yes they will. But I am sure mobile geeks will return my phone calls and send me away with an ipad in worse condition than when I brought it in. I am usually very patient with errors. I didn’t even get upset when he broke the ipad. I almost never write negative reviews, but this guy was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Save your money and your sanity and go somewhere else.
