If there was a zero star option is pick it. Unfriendly front desk and manager. I highly do not recommend this hotel.

My only problem was the internet connection… HORRIBLE. I had to use my phone to get a decent signal which is strange for a Choice Hotel property.
The place has a few years on it and that’s fine. However, if you need to use your computer, you might want to spend a few extra bucks elsewhere — either that or have a good phone plan…

Econo lodge in temple was a place to sleep for our family of four and our lil beagle dog. Not only are they pet friendly (only $ 10/​night when we went), but they also offered a military discount, which was greatly appreciated. Its right off of the highway in Temple, if you are going towards Dallas, it’s past most of the high traffic areas in Temple, if you are going towards Austin, it’s right before you get there. I definitely didn’t see a clean and modern place, it was dated, but it was in fact clean for the most part. The room was HOT when we got in, we had to turn on the a/​c, so it was really uncomfortable at first, but it cooled off fairly quickly. Our toilet ended up getting clogged in the middle of the night, so that was kind of gross to wake up to, not sure what happened, but overall its a decent place to lay your head if you are just too tired to keep going. I would stay there again, especially if my pet and money are both issues. We did not partake in breakfast the next morning, so I can’t really say how it was.

Not only was it clean with modern up to date furniture, the hospitality was great. They made sure I was a satisfied by letting me see room first and also when internet went down because of cable company issue they provided alternative wifi. I will definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The motel is a little bit older but well taken care of. It was very nice for the price. We would definitely stay there again if we were in Temple.

If you are looking for cheap but clean and comfortable this is a good place.
