Don’t hire them! The military used them to move us from CA to TX and would rather of moved everything ourself! The pick up was fast and the workers were friendly. I was told they will unpack everything when they arrived to my house in TX. We had to wait a week or two(can’t remember the exact amount of time) before we could get our furniture delivered. When they did, the staff were not very friendly and did not unpack anything for us but the main furniture. I wouldn’t mind unpacking my own things but it was just that they had saids they would be doing that for me and I was 8 months pregnant. So many items were broken and scratched. They even delivered furniture that wasn’t ours! I had them put it back on the moving truck and take it back. I then submitted a claim for the damaged items. after finally agreeing on a price for reimbursement, the claims processor sent me an email stating the claim has been processed and we will be receiving reimbursement. I was told it will take a couple months. About 6 months later, I emailed the lady back(since they require all transactions to be in writing) twice within a couple months with no response back. It has now been a YEAR since the supposed check was to be sent to me and still nothing. I emailed her again and found her office number to make a call. I left her a voicemail to call me back. I am not optimistic given her past history of no response. My next step will be to contact someone in the BBB. I also submitted a «no payment» through the military website so maybe they can get answers for me. Don’t waste your money on them! Go with someone who respects your personal items!!!

I recently helped a friend of mine move to TX, and Hidden Valley Moving and Storage arrived with her belongings a couple days later. A couple of her things were broken, which wasn’t a big deal, and beside the point of this review. I sat with her and the check-off list and watched these guys move her stuff. Actually, I watched the«helper» guy move her stuff. The driver spent a good portion of his time talking to someone on the phone – sounded like a personal call. The rest of his time he spent complaining, and belittling the other guy – his name was Mario, I don’t recall what the driver’s name was. Mario was extremely friendly, and really helpful. Nary a complaint out of him, even when the other guy was talking to him like a jerk. So kudos to Mario for being a good human being! We liked him. The other guy? Wow… I haven’t run across this kind of person in a long time. He was a jerk, and had no problem demonstrating it to us. He was yelling at my friend’s dogs to be quiet(little dogs, not loud), talking rudely to and belittling the man helping him, and being combative with my friend(the customer). He was a total jerk, and I’m sorry we had to deal with him that day. I have never heard anyone complain more in the process of doing their job.
