This review is based on my hair salon experience only. I had such a disappointing experience there. Maybe if my hair was done by a different hair stylist, I’d be happier but my hair is messed up. I’m hoping my old hair stylist can squeeze me in tomorrow. I’d rather drive to Round a Rock than come here again. It seemed like the stylists had their appointments overlapping with others and maybe mine was in a rush to the point where she went scissor crazy and cut more than she should’ve and one side shorter than the opposite side. I didn’t even feel like saying anything. I just wanted to get out of there. Plus it was too muggy in there.

Clean store Staff always friendly and savings always good. I would recommend to download the reatilmenot app for extra saving as well.

I love JCP! I always find inspiration for cute new work outfits when I come in here. I think it’s really cool too that they are working on advances in technology. For example, if you’re just buying one or two items and don’t need a bag, one of the employees can check you out with their mobile registers. So cool! 9 times out of 10 the employees are really sweet and are just as excited about the great deal you got as you are. The only criticisms I have are the mobile app and the dressing rooms. The mobile app does not show the barcode on the coupon and they need the barcode to use it in store. You have to actually go to the website and find the coupon there, that’s just silly. Also the dressing rooms, what is it with department store dressing rooms? You can go into the nicest Macys, dillards, jcpenney and the whole store will look spotless but then you get into the dressing rooms and the carpets haven’t been cleaned in years. Please, just get Stanley Steamer in there once!

Hair Salon: I’ve been coming here to the same stylist for the last 5yrs & I have no complaints. I’m always here at 0800 for the very first appt time & I’m out at a decent time. The last salon I went to I would wait 30min-​90min PAST my appt time before I was seen then another 2−3hrs. That’s NOT the case at JCPenny’s hair salon.

I like that they have a big and tall section for men but they literally have a toddler boys clothes selection smaller than one of their dressing rooms. Very disappointments with that.
Staff is very friendly though.
