Very cute place for Temple! Huge selection of draft beers. Knowledgable wait staff. Clean bathrooms!

Great food never been serve a piece of fish that big anywhere order the fish and chips. Bartenders were not friendly acted like you were upsetting them by setting at the bar. They were haveing a casino night it was New a years eve. Great food just don’t go around 3:00ish both bartenders made you feel like they wished you weren’t there.

Can’t say enough about this Place, if you ever just need a place to have a great Beer this is the place to visit. Friendly service, great selection of Draft Beers, local Beer, and the you can’t beat the Steak that they offer at a great price. When I come here I feel like I’m part the family. And to top it of they bring live music to the mix I never thought I would like to listen to local bands but it’s good stuff. Cheers if you ever stop by.

Visited Obriens for the first time since moving to Texas. Bar staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Glo was a fantastic bartender and gave me great recommendations on nights to come for live music as well as local beer options. The beer selection was fantastic and he the boneless wings which were good as well. Look forward to going back and checking out some live country music.

really nice place. upstairs downstairs and live bands on tuesdays. pool table upstairs and also darts — they have a food menu and also an app you can download just look up the name of the bar and it will pop up in the app store.

Pulled off the hwy for a good meal. Found this place and we were not disappointed. It was a quiet sunday night and few people inside but staff was great and attentive, food was hot and good and too much to eat. Good decision to eat here

The atmosphere was cool, although my with the people that were there. The female bartender was very profession in her description of the beers for my flight taste. Good selection of single malt scotch. I was impressed and will definitely be coming back.

First came here two years ago with a friend to check out the beer selection. Around the Killeen area they have the best beer selection in a restaurant until you reach Austin. They have live music several nights a week, usually local artists during the week and visiting artists on weekends. Usually there is a small door charge per person when bands are playing. Smoking is allowed indoors. Food is also good, not your usual cheap and bad pub food its actually pretty good. If you don’t want to eat here there are a few restaurants around the corner you can hit up before you come have a drink.

Normally really like this place. They have good live music, a ton of craft beers to choose from, but God forbid you ask for a shot with more than 2 ingredients in it. I was told to keep it simple. She didn’t even try to humor me and attempt to make it better. Granted it was Valentine’s Day, but it wasn’t that busy at the bar. I just want to order my wife a «special» drink so we could have a nice evening. Needless to say NO TIP FOR YOU! My apologies to the wait staff because they are super nice. It’s a shame that one bad bartender can ruin the experience.
Ps– the shots I did receive were flat and awful.

I can’t really think of any reason to take away a star! Tons of beer on tap, bartender was super helpful and helped me choose. We got some spinach artichoke dip and that was super delicious, not like nasty bar food. Service was great, bathrooms clean, not smoky since they moved that mess outside and the acoustics were much better than they were last time we came here. Very nice changes, we’ll be hanging out here more often for sure

I went there for Hallowe’en and paid the cover (that wasn’t advertised anywhere) to get in, place was hard to get through, not because of the amount of people, but the poorly designed seating area downstairs. Went upstairs to get a set, waited five minutes to get asked about drinks, no drink menu available, just go to the website I was told, or get their app… yeah, I don’t own a cell phone, don’t really want or need one, so thanks for that, ordered drinks, and food.
Food took forever, and the one order of fries came 20 minutes after we received our order. The food is overpriced for what you get, both the amount and quality of it… looked like frozen food served to us. After we ate, good luck finding a waitress, because no one came upstairs for a long time, finally I asked about a drink and was told that they don’t make frozen drinks… what!!! The waitress never asked about or offered an alternative and walked away, I went downstairs and waited for ten minutes at the bar to be served, again, not because of other patrons, but because the bar staff was busy talking to each other at the other end of the bar.
Finally got my drink, watched the end of the band playing and went to the bathroom as we left, and no paper in the ladies room to use, and the men’s was just smelly and dirty… nice. I was also told that this isn’t a pub really, more of a concert venue on weekends, so I will try to find a pub to go for drinks around here.

This place is a lot fun to drink a few beers and hang out with friends. Staff is friendly and offers great service. Great selection of beers. I have always enjoyed coming here for a relaxing beer. Keep up the great work!

Went here for Halloween for the first time. I had a fantastic time. The live blues band was great. The food was good and the staff was friendly.

Here to see my old pals in Reverend Horton Heat. Ordered a Shocktop and a shot of Grand Marnier. Ya know the clear plastic cups you get drinks in? My shot barely cleared the bottom-​most line and cost $ 7. Wow. I have been a beer n shot drinker for a long time and have never been so underserved. When we were here for St. Pat’s and ordering $ 20 shots of Glenlivet they were substantial. Wtf? Come on and play Rev!

Bring it on! This Irish pub keeps on working toward making OBrien’s a for real Texas venue for national touring acts. Doing a hell of a job at it, too! A for real off-​Austin venue that books some really class acts. Gotta love it !

First off, this place is huuuuge. There was a good selection of beers, and an upstairs area with pool tables. The thing that will keep me coming back is the dart board. Thankfully, I can enjoy my favorite hobby here. The service was also exceptional. A great pub!

First time in Temple. First time to Obreins Pub. Definitely will not be the last. Good music. Great drinks and the staff is awesome.
But what’s bringing me back is the history and atmosphere of this place. So relaxing. A place where a gentleman can relax, enjoy his drink and appreciate where he is in the world.
Music is tasteful. I felt so relieved to end my day of work at such a historic and beautiful place.
+1 to being grateful classy is still in.
