It’s an okay place to get my Indian necessities. I have bought a few expired things without knowing. That’s always annoying that they don’t rotate stock. The food they sell at the restaurant isn’t my favorite. It’s fast food Indian style. They keep their samosas out over night unrefrigirated. Kinda gross. It’s a grocery store don’t expect good food.

Good place to get the basic indian cooking needs. Lots of spices, rices, and frozen products. However make sure to check the expiration date on things before buying– last year I accidently bought chicken that had expired in 2011. Also, they rarely have fresh samosas on hand. You have to wait for them to be fried, but they are good once finished! I’ve also had bad luck with the computer system here– twice I’ve had to wait 20 minutes at the register while the system was re-started. Overall this place is a necessity in Temple but it could be much better run.

Ok here is the deal if you like Indian food you need to try this place out! It is in the back of a grocery store. The guy working the son of the cook was super nice and helpful. It was their weekend menu not all options available but plenty to choose from. We got the paneer and chickpea dishes with rice, roti and an order of the samosas(the best I’ve ever had). It was so good that we got an order to go for later. We will be back!

This is a great store. The people are very knowledgeable and friendly. Great variety! I am happy to have found this neat little store. Much gratitude to the ladies who helped me find the ingredients I needed as well as taking time to give me hints to preparation. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend this store. The food is great as well.

A small Indian grocery store in temple with all the spices and Indian grocery items one can ask for. The prices are similar to Austin so why not shop in Temple!

In Temple, it’s hard to find things that aren’t American food. This little mom and pop Indian store is a great addition to this town. I went here today to buy some spices, and it was really worth my time. I bought about 5 lbs worth of spices for ~$ 20. Inside this little grocer is also a chaat café. Basically, they’re appetizers, snacks, and meals. The samosa was great, it was vegetarian and it came with a sauce too. It was also very reasonably priced at $ 1.25. If you’re looking for Indian spices and groceries, this is the place. Additionally, if you want some quick Indian snacks, this is also the place to go. I’ll definitely be shopping here more often.
