Schlotzsky’s

0 of I could. 15 employees and a call in takes longer than walk ins and drive thru. Nobody knew where the order was for over 15 min. Horrific service

Now I understand that Schlotzky’s is no longer the same place that I grew up enjoying in the 1980’s but honestly, this will be the last time that I ever try to choke one of their sandwiches down. I just drove through the store in Temple TX and got home to find that my order was ¾ wrong which these days I can live with. It’s what I normally expect when I’m forced to use a drive through. The kicker was the half baked bread, no dressing of any kind, roast beef? that tasted like melted rubber and turkey? that smelled like tuna fish. Nope, never again.

A drive through experience should be relatively quick. A 40 minute experience is not what Id call quick

I was staying in Temple, Texas this week right by here, so I checked them out once. I’m a Pescatarian so I checked their menu out online and found out they had a «homestyle tuna» option. Great~! We get there and I’m relieved to see it listed on the menu placard in front of the register, so I order and I’m informed (Incredibly rudely) by the cashier (Whose name started with a K) that they don’t have it, and yes it’s on the menu but this location doesn’t carry it. Why not sharpie that part out on the in store menu display then? Or you know just have the proper menu in the store? Cashier was incredibly rude to me, I ordered lettuce and tomato on rye and she snipped at me «Do you want meat on that or just that?» again, with the rude attitude. I thought I was in the south where people are polite.
She did give me a discount which is the reason it’s 2 stars and not one. I get that this is a chain and the menu online does not reflect each and every store, but when the options are in front of the cash register on the laminated menu then there is something wrong.

I eat here very regularly. One of the few places for a vegetarian to get a quick drive through meal. Love the cheese original.

Try the new improved salads! YUM Great location… service never disappoints!

Good food. Good prices. They do give a discount if you have an A+ Card.

Good food, exactly what you’d expect from Scholotzsky’s. This location is MEGA crowded, so that was a turn-​off for me, but I’m sure it’s not like this all the time.
