With skim milk doesn’t mean I want non fat, non sugar cardboard coffee. It means I want skim milk, that’s all. I have this problem at Starbucks understanding I know what I want. If I wanted non fat I would say non fat. And when on a road trip it’s not conducive to going back to replace it. Sigh. $ 5 wasted. They were so fast at the drivethru that I wish they let me taste it first!

I order iced coffee black. I got sweetened iced tea. I said sorry and asked for a black iced coffee and again and they gave me a hot coffee. I asked for the iced coffee and the girl tried to ring me up for it again. It wasn’t busy when I was in and everything I ordered took forever to get. Wifi was weak.

Love this place. The patio at sunset is pretty, despite the surrounding road construction.

I don’t like Starbucks or their holier-than-thou corporate political stances however the coffee here is acceptable and this location is clean as any other sb’s. Wonder if the staff here wants to have a socio-political conversation while we wait for our coffee!!!

This is my favorite Starbucks in the temple area. The staff is always kind and greet me by name. AND no matter what time of day there is always a place to sit. The other one in town always seems crowded with college students

Crowded parking lot at 3pm on a Tuesday. Had to wait inside to order even though there was no line ahead of us. No decaf available. Three employees in the store setting up Christmas displays, one manager in the back, and only one person at counter. Larger dining room than most Starbucks. Easy to get back on the highway.

Someone needs to train these employees in dealing with customers. If you don’t want to give me a refill, then say something. Don’t give me a refill, make it a different way, and then start b*tching at me because I asked for my coffee the way I ordered it. «Actually ma’am, refills are for the same store visit only(after I have coffee in hand). Are you diabetic? Do you have a medical reason you can’t drink the coffee I gave you?» {WHAT!!!} This is the worst treatment I have ever received and I go to Starbucks multiple times a day in cities all over the United States!!! With other options, I would steer clear of this store!

This is my stop on the way to/from San Antonio. Great service and restroom.

Perfect place for a pit stop on I-35. Clean facilities(including the restrooms) and relatively quick service. The drinks are Starbucks quality, of course. If there’s a negative, it’s that everyone else traveling I-35 knows about this too.

I usually get a latte 180 when I don’t make it myself. The bagel and sandwich selection after the breakfast rush can be slim pickings.

This is my Austin to Fort Worth stopping point while northbound on 35. I stopped here and actually went inside with the girls(I usually just drive through) on the last trip and the guys inside were super friendly, and as my friend Courtney pointed out, «That was the hottest barista I’ve ever seen at a Starbucks!»

Super busy but friendly. The restrooms could use a little bit of a touch up. They are not shiesty about their iced waters. hehe

I haven’t lived in Temple since the 90s, but I visit frequently to see my parents. Inevitably, I end up at this Starbucks(or the other one across town.) I swear, there WERE local coffee shops in town when I grew up in T-Town. But the big money shut them down. Ah, the little man. So this Starbucks is pretty much like any other Starbucks you have been to in the US. There’s nice lighting, over priced drinks, and comfortable seating. It is larger on the inside than many, since it used to be a Taco Cabana. And it also boasts a drive through. I know many out-of-towners hit this one up since it is on the I35.(The I35 access road is called General Bruce Drive in Temple for some confusing reason.) One problem with this Starbucks is that it is right next to the high school, so it can be a bit overrun by teenagers. Gosh, I sound like an old person. The workers are friendly, so that’s good.

Probably the best location for Starbucks in Temple. Easy access right off the Interstate. Probably has the largest seating area(the one in Target has a fair amount, too). This location was an old Taco Cabana converted into a Starbucks, to give you the idea of its size. Otherwise, typical Starbucks. A little too much money for good coffee :)

Nice place although it tends to be a bit dirty outside and in the bathrooms. A bit more care to the appearance of this place would make it a lot more inviting. It is a nice stop along the way as you head up to DFW or back to San Antonio but if they took a little bit more care in maintaining the place it would make a world of difference.

I love this Starbucks! EVERY time I have been in there the people have been so friendly. I have carried on entire conversations with them sometimes! It also doesn’t hurt that they make sure to add tons of chocolate chips to my Java Chocolate Chunk Frap! Yummy!

As long as I’ve been living in Austin and making the drive up and down I-35 to get to Fort Worth for family visits, I’ve stopped at this Starbucks on the way up the road. I usually leave Austin very early in the morning in order to avoid our hideous rush hour traffic, so by the time I hit Temple I’m kinda sorta just waking up(don’t tell the Highway Patrol dude). The service is great, as is the coffee. One reason I have a soft spot in my heart for this particular ‘bucks is this: last spring, my very much beloved Dad, who had been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma about a year earlier, began his slow descent to the«other side.» My sis called me up at school and told me to come home. Now. I tearfully explained to my students and administrators what was happening, and exited the building barely able to drive myself home. I got packed, hit the road somewhat more composed, and as usual stopped at the Temple Starbucks for some caffeine consolation. I told the girl who took my order what was going on, and she was so kind to me. They were having a drawing for a really nice Cuisinart coffee maker, so I put my name in the hat. My precious pappy passed away 2 weeks later, and as I was at my mom’s house after the service, I got a call on my cell phone… it was Starbucks, telling me I had won the coffee maker! It was a little, teeny bright light at the end of a very sad, dark tunnel. It was just luck of the draw, but I’ll keep the fondness in my heart for this store and keep stopping by en route.

This Starbucks should be on the map as a Texas tourist attraction. If it is the one I am thinking of — right off I35 — they have very comfortable chairs to sit in — and large window view. It would be a perfect place for a small business meeting — with two people — or a first date break-the-ice kind of place. I love this Starbucks!!!
