Good. Solid Thai taste. Rice was sticky like it’s supposed to be. My Thai ginger chicken had the right spices. All around it was a good meal.

Just had lunch there. I had the n1 and it was the BEST Thai food I have ever eaten, the service was quick and the food was to die for. Everything was fresh and the servings were plentiful. I had my food in about 7 min a big plate with a mountain of noodles. The mangos and sticky rice were divine and the fried bananas were so good Eat there it’s worth it

Consistently good. Kind of a hole in the wall. The food is always fresh tasting and it is prepared quick. So if your in a hurry or not this place is a break from the ordinary food. I recommend this place for its consistent good food at a reasonable price.

I had the Pad Thai and it did not taste good at all. It didn’t even taste like Pad Thai! The people working here are very nice, but I won’t eat here again.

This place was frequented by many people when I was in High School and I just recently tried it for the first time. The food was fresh when brought to our table. I ordered the cashew chicken, and it had great taste. The portions were not very big, I rarely ever finish a meal in the restaurant and finished this meal easily. I also had a serving of their cream cheese wontons which were decent. Staff were not very personable and I thought I really didnt like that the silverware was not provided upon receiving your meal and is placed in containers lunch room style.

Went during a lunch and they said they ran out of everything like rice. The spicy pad Thai was far from spicy. Really disappointed!

Right off of central and looks kinda shady. Walked in to the employees eating and no one here. Not that those are negative comments because it wasn’t lunch or dinner times and well everyone has to eat! The owner cooks all the food and was super nice about everything! Even gave us an extra scoop of rice to go as well as a couple of to go Thai teas(which were amazing as well) Started off with egg rolls, made fresh as well as freshly cooked. Yummy in my tummy. I had the pad Thai, medium spice with pork and it was amazing! This white boy loved the balance of heat and flavor in it all. Girlfriend had green curry, medium heat with chicken. Hers was a little more spicy than mine(it’s that Asian connection I think) however, this guy who doesn’t like any curry has now been schooled on some damn good cooking. Everything made fresh, no MSG, quaint atmosphere, free WiFi and $ 1 off of $ 10 or more if you check in on FB!

I don’t see any reviews for Pad-Woon-Sen. People come in here and order stuff you can find in the freezer section at HEB. Makes me wonder about people. Their reviews… Pad Thai, spring rolls, Cashew chicken. I say take that stuff off the menu. Keep the hipsters out. Reviewers who do not mention N4 by name; especially if you’ve been somewhere in Thailand. Shame on your house. Pad-Woon-Sen. 5 stars. Best I’ve ever had. It’s good every time. Going on 5 or so years now of patronage.

I usually don’t write reviews and never have. But this is the first time I have ever eaten at this place and I must say this will be my very last time. I have had Thai food from all over the country in multiple Thai food restaurants and I can tell you that this place has the worst Thai food I have ever tasted in my entire life. I ordered the yellow curry and this is the weakest curry I have ever had. I actually make curry at home a thousand times better than this and can not believe that I actually paid this much money for horrible food. I only went to this restaurant and based off of the positive reviews that I have read. I truly have to say that the people who have had positive reviews of this food has never truly tasted Thai food. Hopefully everyone else’s experience at this place will be better than my own as I will not return. I also wish that I could give this place less than 1 star however it is impossible to do this on this app this would be a negative 5 stars.

Not bad. Not great. Spring rolls were large but over lettuced. Peanut sauce was well… not really peanut sauce. It was some kind of sweet and sour sauce and they sprinkle in a couple peanuts as a garnish. Pad thai was decent… coulda used more egg. My wife had the green curry. She asked for not spicy and they said they could make it not spicy. Well, it was spicy. I liked it but she was hoping for something like she ordered. Lack of other options might make us give them another chance.

This place has Amazing food for an affordable price! The food comes out in a very timely manner, usually within 5 – 10 mins of ordering. I would highly recommend this place! It’s become one of my favorites!

So disappointed! I love Thai food and wanted to go here for my birthday. Each of our dishes(3) had at hair in it! They all had a short little black hair– maybe a cat lives in the kitchen?(I hoping it was that and not a body hair… uegch!) and my daughter’s also had a long hair. Now I know it happens from time to time, but All Three?! Just ruined it for us. I’m very sad to say, we won’t be back.

Tried here again after trying one of the other Thai laces on the west side of town – basically they spice it up to what I consider thai food standards. But the place on the west side had better sauces. Both places are good but I think I’ll go back to the west side place from here on – side note my egg rolls were slightly burnt and I asked for the pad Thai spice sauce to be «spicy» and to place some on the side for me to add as necessary. What I got was no spice on my pad Thai and no sauce on the side.

Cashew chicken: chicken is inedible. Taste like it’s been resting at room temperature before it was cooked with big chicks of vegetables that have been overly seasoned with soy sauce. Friend rice is just white rice with salt and pepper and a fried egg thrown in. Gross. Lunch special came with a fried spring roll that taste like it has been fried in old oil. Fresh Spring Rolls: These were good. Basic ingredients. Lettuce, noodles, cilantro, shrimp and chicken(?). The peanut sauce it came with is absolutely HORRIBLE! Asked for Satay sauce. Got a watered down curry gravy with no hint of peanut sauce in there. Really, REALLYBADFOOD!

Worst Thai food. Been here twice I was blown away how bland and how tasteless the food is. I like me me’s better in the city.

Awful place. I went with a group of three, we each ordered Pad Thai, and all agreed it was terrible. I have no idea how this place is so popular or packed. Have people in this area never had true Thai food? One person brought their food back to the counter because it was so inedible and the girl at the counter was audibly annoyed. She then came back over to our table to demand to know what was wrong with it. The person explain they didn’t taste any tamarind paste. The girl then replied«tamarind paste what is that!?». That should tell you everything you need to know.(Although judging by these reviews it doesn’t) They did offer to make another, the second plate came out slightly more edible but was still not good. The shrimp in mine was old or cheap tasting. All three of us had stomach aches later that night. 2 stars not 1 because a second plate was made to attempt to right the wrong.

Pretty decent food for small town in Texas. I arrived at 7:57 and the nice lady at the front still served us even though they closed at 9. Food was good prices were good. Overall I would recommend! Friendly staff!

I’ve had better, just about everywhere else. Way WAY too many onions in the basil stir fry. Rice was overcooked and too small portions for the price. I was pretty hungry after having driven 5 hours, but that didn’t help. The 2nd star is for the excellent service.
