Total dive bar! If you want cheap beer and loud regular customers this is where to wet your whistle. I’ve had food there before and while the quantity was large the bartender on staff has to make it and leave the bar unattended. It’s dark enough that if it was dirty, which it probably is, you wouldn’t notice. I asked for a strong shot and the bartender told me they didn’t have any, so she suggested an Irish car bomb. The glass wasn’t nearly full enough with Guinness and she placed the shot glasses on the nasty table before we dropped them in our glasses. I will still go back but customer be aware that this is a Dive.

Visiting my hometown from North Carolina. The food is as good as I remember. Will be going back again before we go home!

Just a quick note… it’s actually located in Baldwinville. Not Orange.

The Turtle is a queer duck… Situated in the luckless industrial town that is Orange, the Turtle is one of hundreds of bars in the surrounding area — a comment on the local temperament and choice of self-medication… yet it seems somehow cheerier than its cohorts — locals are actually happy to be here and want you to feel as welcome as they do… They are open for breakfast and lunch… the food is mediocre… Their best features are their clientele and the fact that they serve a decent selection(they have BBC on tap) of inexpensive drafts… The Thirsty Turtle is a fine choice of bars in the area… and a great place to hit up after crazy local events like the River Rat Race…
