I stopped by for a quick treat only to wait in line 10 minutes to be greeted by a rude person on the intercom, I finally get to the window and the girl asks what I had, I let her know, 5 minutes later I get my shake that was supposed to be a malt and she asked me to park in the x, 10 minutes later I got a Luke warm BBQ sandwich. This place is not worth 25 minutes of my life. Substandard, slow, rude people, crappy food. Not coming back ever. Worse DQ ever!

I basically always use the drive-​thru here. Even when there’s a line its pretty quick. Blizzards are well-​made but not as good as the one out on Wabash (where they put extra toppings on after they mix it up!). I also have had some solid smoothies and milkshakes. Drive-​thru workers are always nice. The entry to the parking lot is a little weird off Davis, but overall not a hard location to get in and out of.

I had time to download the Unilocal app, make a new account, and write this review all while waiting in line for a hot dog and a small order of fries. This is by far the worst Dairy Queen I’ve ever been to. I’ve even worked at a DQ for years when I was younger so usually I give DQs some slack. This DQ is just awful all the way around though.

We go here because my kids like the old fashion feel.
The food is good and the ice cream is excellent.
The service is quick and efficient. I was especially impressed with our last visit. We didn’t get there until 8 and were followed by a pretty decent crowd. The staff was mostly high school age and yet filled all of the orders in a friendly and efficient manner. I bring that up because I have had bad experiences with staff from this age group at other places.

I’m not big into ice cream, but my wife loves it. She was happy that they dipped the cones twice here. They are usually pretty quick and the bathrooms are OK.
