Look Good Feel Good Barber Shop

Best cut I’ve had in quite a while. Seriously. So great to have this place in Terre Haute.
It’s a small one chair shop, but Rich was really professional. He has well over 20 years experience and seemed to be up on current styles. Cut included a hot towel treatment, too — nice!
Also, there is a great line of locally made beard balm available in his shop. Worth checking out, for sure.

After hearing a lot about Look Good Feel Good for a few weeks I started snooping around online and today I finally got the opportunity to check it out.
The shop is small and comfortable, and the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious.
I showed up early for my appointment and there were a few guys ahead of me, which ordinarily for me is a little uncomfortable and I do what most people do in a situation like that… mess with my phone. But in this case it was easy to just sort of hang out and have a chat while I waited. An atmosphere like that is rare and definitely appreciated.
As for the cut itself, I have to say that I found Rich to be something that I thought was long gone… someone who is into what they do and is simply really good at it. I’ve always thought of a haircut as a sort of necessary evil, but now that I’ve found a place where I know I can count on a really good cut and a relaxed atmosphere, I’m really looking forward to becoming a regular.

I travel all around the north and Midwest of the United States and this has been the best barber shop I’ve been to since I was back home in North Carolina. My father being a barber has cut my hair all my life and I know exactly what I’m looking for when getting my hair cut. The barber (Rich) used the same clipper over comb style that my dad uses back home. Most super cuts and great clips barber shops do not use that technique and have never heard of it. The haircut was great, exactly how I pictured it. After the haircut I was given a hot towel face treatment that was pretty awesome. I highly recommend this barber shop for anyone in the area, or anyone just passing through Terre Haute.
