An incredible value at this price. Room was clean, comfortable and modern, staff members were warm and welcoming and location was perfect… right off the interstate and within 1 – 2 miles of at least 20 restaurants. Continental breakfast offered a decent variety. No fitness center but hey, at this price, I went for a local walk instead.

Stayed at this location Oct.21. Easy off and on freeway. Very small lobby and breakfast area. Great customer service from Cheyenne, who checked us in. She was so helpful, gave us a good rate and even a lower floor room which is what we wanted. Also provided us with list of local restaurants that deliver to hotel and local restaurants to dine in. Room was clean, basic budget room. Only drawback is the tiny bathroom. The sink is very low so if you are tall it could be a problem. Room was quiet with no problems. Breakfast wasn’t great but well stocked with coffee, juice, cereal, apples and bananas, waffle maker and bagels, toast and donuts and muffins.

Economical, no bells or whistles, friendly staff, very affordable, great location. I payed $ 65/night which is what they advertise. Their sister hotel is next door with all the amenities you could expect for $ 100. Even so, If you don’t want to spend much, this is the place for you. Simple bagels, muffins, waffles, and cereal for breakfast. They serve popcorn for happy hour. The location is right off the freeway and about a mile from the mall. Jacob checked me in. He is a great gentlemen and very helpful. If sleep is all you need, this is your place.

Whenever I’m in Terre Haute, I always stay at the Pear Tree Inn. The price seems reasonable compared to some of the other, more fancy places nearby, but I really don’t require a lot from a hotel when I’m traveling; Pear Tree Inn fits my exact needs. It’s like a budget version of Drury and is owned by the same corporation. Sometimes, Drury staff are at the front desk of Pear Tree Inn here. The staff is always helpful and courteous, the rooms are clean and things in the bathroom are always clean and functional. When I’m in Terre Haute, I consider this hotel to be my home away from home since I stay here every time I’m in Terre Haute. It’s in a good location because it’s by the highway, gas stations, and restaurants which are some of the nationally known chain restaurants like Applebee’s and Outback Steak House. There are fast food places near by, too. Mike’s Market is just up the street if you want something like sodas and convenience food that is not fast food. There is also a Starbucks nearby if you want coffee or coffee drinks that they sell. Terre Haute is a college town and that adds to the fun sometimes.

We arrived with our small dogs after driving across the country to move from Phoenix to Terre Haute. We had stayed in Drury Inns throughout the trip(Albuquerque, Amarillo, and Springfield, MO) and I knew this was a budget hotel with the company. It is directly next door to the Drury Inn. I knew upon check in that it did not include the dinner service and that breakfast would be continental. Not a big deal, our new apt was right down the street anyway. However, upon check in and going into our room, it was obvious it had not been cleaned(though we arrived around 6pm). The woman at the front desk was VERY apologetic and immediately moved us into a larger room upstairs. The manager at the Drury then called us and apologized once again, and invited us to the Drury for breakfast the following morning. We were very pleased with this, and even more so when we discovered they were comping our room for us. Overall, I would absolutely stay in any Drury Inn hotel or sister hotel. I’ve had wonderful experiences and the customer service is excellent. If only all hotel chains took this much pride in their locations and customers.

Looking at the previous reviews on here made us weary of stopping but we decided to give it a try. This hotel has the amenities of Drury except a couple things. The entrance was very easy to find although for security reasons they require people to buzz in and out(which I don’t see as a bad thing). The room was comfortable and very little to no noise from the highway even though it is right next to it. Room was very clean and the bed was soft. The staff was very nice and will most likely go there again if we have to stop. Btw Check out is at 11am

Stayed here one night, Friday, Sept 4th. This is a budget version of a Drury Hotel. When I drove up, the sparseness of cars and the natural landscape gave me the impression the place might be closed. There is a very modest entry into the lobby, you might walk by it not knowing it is the way in. Next door there is an Outback Steakhouse, which was very busy and handy if you’re tired and don’t feel like leaving the property. The room was comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was a simple affair: basic cereals, juice, coffee and choice of banana or apple. Not very much seating area and what was there is somewhat cramped. Parking was plentiful and felt reasonably secure.

Where to stay in the middle of the country after a long day on the road with your dog? Found a coupon in one of the rest stop publications and got a killer deal on a room here. This is the same hotel chain as Drury hotels, and this is a more affordable option, but seriously not a skimpy one by any means! This location does more than just allow dogs, but they also offer treats right at the front desk, which was a wonderful surprise for my dog! Some hotels do not even let them near the front desk even if they are allowed in rooms. Our first room was not very clean and the air conditioner did not work properly, so we asked if we could switch, and we were pleasantly given a different room, and the lady behind the desk was more than pleasurable to speak to about this! This location is right off the highway, free internet service, small breakfast, and close to tons of restaurants if you so choose! Definitely would stay here again if in the area, and would gladly stay at another Pear Tree again!
