One of the best spots in Jackson Hole! Great lunch and dinner! This slope side place has it all! Great outdoor seating, extensive menu with a solid selection of beer! I recommend the burgers, salads and my favorite is the Ham & Cheese sandwich! Enjoy!

Great sweet potato tots, the wings were good, but at 5 per order it was a bit disappointing. The nachos were great, but they were baked on parchment paper which stuck to the cheese, so we ate some of the parchment paper as well. I think the parchment paper was gluten free and non GMO, so not all bad.

Very busy spot. Try to get to the bar early if you are trying to get a spot at the bar. Has outdoor seating but fills quickly when the lifts stop. Chili is good and the bartenders were friendly.

Great location if you are staying in the village, but the food was terrible. I was actually very surprised at just how bad it was! Would never go back.

This place has most of the right ingredients for 4 – 5 stars. The outside patio is amazing — a view of the mountain and great heat lamps. However, the inside seating is more like a ski café — very casual but somehow stuffy feeling. The majority of the food and drinks we had was great(recommend the hot toddy, fried chicken and beans cassoulet), but everything is just about $ 3 too expensive. Worth a try for an apres ski or ski lunch if you can snag a table outside next to the heat lamps. Also, we shared an entrée(fried chicken) for lunch, and that was plenty of food.

Great bar area with outside seating with a fire wall. Local beers on tap and full menu.

Our large family ate here for Christmas Eve dinner. It was easy and casual. The food was delicious – especially the fried pickles. Definitely recommend this place.

Best beat salad with Pistachios and the most perfect chicken. I ate there 3 times during our stay, and EVERYTHING we ordered came out to perfection. They are pricy but actually very cheap for the quality of service and food you receive. It belongs to 4 seasons. They are very fast but at the same time the best. Ps, Unilocal does not show this place when you look for restaurants in this area, you have to specifically look for it. Also the star rating also shows that they probably are not paying Unilocal! I LOVED it.

I would skip this restaurant altogether unless you want seating with a view of the base since there is not a base lodge at the resort. The most disappointing item on the menu were the $ 25 fish and chips. This item consisted of 4 fried cod sticks with French fries that were served in a metal«bucket». Severely overpriced! The kids ordered hot cocoa which they didn’t drink because it was watery. We were extremely disappointed however my son did like his country fried chicken dish which looked very filling.

Stopped by for a quick bite and had wings and some elk chili. The chili was terrific, m the wings were Ok and beer satisfying. My didn’t eat her country chicken, but having it cold a couple of days later was delicious, so she’s probably just being picky. It’s the four seasons so you really have to ignore the prices if you plan to enjoy yourself, but if you do, I think you are in for a treat. Service was fine too, but it’s really he least you expect at a place like this.

Happiness is only real, when shared. — Christopher McCandless Everyone at the table said at one time or another this was one of their favorite meals of all time. Not necessarily because of the food quality I think, although very fair, more for the quality of the company and the experience of a meal outside in a beautiful setting. All of the food on the table ordered by our nine person party was tasty. The only exceptions were the fried pickle appetizer fell flat. Sweet potato tots were a highlight but could have used a little spice. As for the meals, the trout was superb and the elk steak very tender. Ones of the girls said the cheese quesadilla was one of the best she had tasted. Note: do not order the LARGE Elk Nachos unless you want to share with a party of twelve. See the picture. Seriously, those nachos were a constant laugh at the table because just one person ordered them. The setting for the restaurant can’t be beat. If you can get a table outside, even if it’s cold, but near the fire, it would be superb. The staff was very helpful and attentive. They even changed a few of the drinks and meals around to suit our tastes better. A great night and a great meal.

We stumbled upon this place for a late lunch after riding ATVs & a hike. It was a warm sunny day and the porch was a great spot. We both got the elk burger which was one of the best things we had on our trip. Fries extra crispy too. We also enjoyed the daily cocktail of a fresh watermelon mojito. Besides the great view, great food & really great cheerful service? I happened to mention it was my boyfriend’s bday & they brought us a delish slice of cake! We love this place and can’t wait to come back!

Staying at the hotel and ate lunch today. The service was friendly and prompt. The food… was ok. I had the kale salad with salmon. The kale salad just didn’t have a great flavor and it needed seasoning. The salmon did not seem to be particularly fresh. $ 20 for an «ok» lunch salad just wasn’t worth it.

We ate this great restaurant located inside The Four Seasons twice during our stay in Teton Village. The first time we weren’t hungry enough for full meals so we had some appetizers and drinks. We sat on the outside patio which has heaters to make it comfortable on a cool summer night. The view was beautiful and a perfect setting for a relaxing vacation night. They specialize in whiskeys and that happens to be my liquor of choice so I wasn’t disappointed. I enjoyed the pretzel with cheese sauce. My husband had the elk chili and loved it. We finished up with a peach pie a la mode. That was so good and had nice flavor. Our second visit was a colder night so we ate inside. We started with the hummus which was the best hummus appetizer I’ve ever had. They had a delicious tapenade sprinkled in with the veggies that was amazing. Can they just serve that tapenade as an appetizer? I had a steak which was well prepared and my husband had a burger that he found to be quite tasty. We split the corn side which was packed with flavor and a good choice.

We loved The Handle Bar so much that my husband asked if he could have his birthday here next year! They make the most insane giant pretzels with an American cheese dipping sauce that are in the shape of a mustache! Do yourself a favor and order at least one of these for the table! You will not regret it! Most people in our group ordered the burgers. They were everything you would dream that a mountain burger would be. Elk meat, sauces and a side of fries. I was trying to be healthy and ordered the kale salad with hazelnut brittle and pomegranate. It was light and refreshing. A side of truffle mac and cheese was done with big elbow noodles and was very creamy. A hot chocolate was nothing special. The highlight for me? That pretzel! I’d be tempted to just order that for lunch. Most people are in ski gear as this is located right off the mountain. Service was friendly, but the food did take some time.

I was staying at the Four Seasons for 4 days in January 2105. The resort is beautiful and the rooms are comfy. We ate at the handlebar restaurant 3 times during our stay. Just like my review of the Westbank Grill(Four Seasons other Restaurant) this place was not great. For starters the food is very over priced but that’s what you get at a four seasons. But the problem is that the food is not great at all. We had every appetizer on the menu except the chicken wings(they were out). The only good ones were the pretzel and nachos. For the entrees I can’t recommend any of them. I will recommend the elk chili! It was the best thing we had here. The perfect amount of heat and flavor. I was generous with a 3 star because of the fantastic service we received.

Horrendously bad service. We were seated at a table 30 minutes ago and still have not had a single person come and take our order. For ridiculously pricy drinks, the servers are surprisingly stuck up. Wouldn’t recommend. Go to the Mangy Moose or go up the Gondola for somewhere more fun, polite, and attentive.

The service was bad here. Just plan bad. It’s sucks because I got stuck here two different days, it has the best view of my kids in classes. Any who… They took forever to take our order at the outside bar. The lady gave my hubs his beer then took another 10 minutes to put my drink together, when she brought it to me with no veggies like the menu said it had I was a bit sad. The lady next to me had ordered the same thing a Bloody Mary buts looked all fancy with veggies and thick not watered down like mine was. We ordered the nacho and it was good. However they put our food down, no napkin and then asked us to get up so they could close the window to the outside. Now I understand that it was freezing 10 out. But when they asked us to get up it took 15 minutes for them to get it closed then my chips were all mushy. That’s really disappointing to me.

We had checked into our hotel nearby and were looking for dessert. We found this place. We were greeted by friendly staff. We were seated next to their lovely, big, Stone fireplace(complete with fire). We got a drink. The hubby got one, the soffclaw. It was strong. He did not care for it. I chose the grizzly bite and it was great! I got the peach pie for dessert, oh my! A small peach pie topped with ginger ice cream and candied pecan and it was the perfect bite. Who would’ve thought that ginger ice cream was so good?! The hubby got the flour less chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and liked it a lot noting it was«exactly what I was looking for». I don’t know about their real food but it was great for dessert. I can also see how in ski season this place would be prime!

Definitely go for the patio, but be prepared to shell out for the food. During ski season, the Handle Bar patio is prime real estate. It can be very hard to find a seat, but it’s great if you can find a spot to take advantage of the drink specials. Our most recent visit was for dinner during the summer. Even though it was a cool evening, they had the heaters and fire places going which made for super cozy meal. The service was pretty good in the beginning, our waitress was knowledgeable on the menu items. The food was yummy, the elk nachos were delicious, and I liked the fried chicken I tried. My fiancé and I split the fish and chips, which I’m glad we did since the portion sizes were on the larger side. I was not a fan of the tempura zucchini. Our waitress kind of disappeared towards the end, and for the price the food was good, but not amazing. Next time we will just stick to happy hour.
