I came here on Saturday night to make a return. Originally I had went to the Lowell Walmart to return, but they were closed. An employee outside mentioned the Tewksbury location was open until midnight. I came to this location only to find that the customer service desk had closed at 10pm. It was now 10:30pm. The customer service manager Matthew was kind enough to open a register and take my return. On top of that my return ended up taking longer than anticipated because it was an online order. Matthew was so helpful and patient with me. I live in Acton, so I had a far drive and it would have been a huge inconvenience to have to come back another day. The customer service was top notch and I think that whenever someone goes out of their way to help you it shouldn’t go unnoticed. Thank you to Walmart Customer Service. Next time I will check for closing times before I head out…

If a Wal-Mart has better avocados than Market Basket then its an automatic 5 star for me. They have a huge food market section which looks better than most supermarkets in Lowell. Anything you want, they have. I walked through the other section of the store and all the employees were in full speed restocking and reorganizing (it was very late at night). On top that most of the employees in here are super cute!

first bad review for me. I’ve had nothing but problems with this walmart. I call in to check the stock and always get put on hold for 15 min+ I end up just driving down there. then I mention how they never put me through on the phone and they were very rude!!! employees are rarely happy and inviting

I was on vacation 6 hours from home and learned that my prescriptions were all at home. I called the local Walmart. They found me in their system and were able to fill short term perscriptions in about an hour. They saved the day for me!

You need to update the hours on your front door. Add days of the week too because there are no days listed and the hours aren’t accurate.
You also need to update your hours online because there are two listings for the same place. One days open 24 hours.

Walmart is Walmart! Almost 20 years ago I worked at this exact Walmart and they had just moved into the area. They were this big superstore and everyone was so excited. Back then they prided themselves on the best prices, nicest staff, cleanest building etc. Over time and different régime changes you could see this place devolve. Since their recent changes where this has become a Super Walmart it has regained some of its past glory and seems to be cleaner than it has been in recent years. The staff is usually friendly and they have a lot of products in stock.
Price wise the grocery department has something to be desired but they do have some things at better prices than their competitors. As for electronics they can beat most of their competition without fail. During Christmas this is still one of the places I plan to go/be for early hour super buys.
This store is still average but looks to be moving g in the right direction.

There’s never enough people working here. Prime hours they’ll have 2 people at check out. I can’t quite understand how a multi-billion dollar company can’t adequately staff their stores. I have recently stopped shopping for food here. Their meat is below average and really should be eaten or frozen the day you buy it, I wouldn’t leave it overnight in the fridge.

Honestly, the best Walmart in the area when you compare it to the Chelmsford and Reading stores. The place is always clean, pretty well stocked and the staff knows what they are doing. Honestly, I know 9 times out of 10 that I’ll find what I came for here. The Subway located inside the store is clean and the food is fresh. The market area has your basic needs covered but the meat isn’t always appealing.
