The young man in the men’s department was very useful and made great suggestions. Purchased hunting equipment from here and had to wait almost twenty minutes for a manager to open the case with sunglasses. Come to find out they didn’t restock the cases for the glasses and the manager was not concerned and didn’t offer to go to the back and grab one. I would go back to this store because of the deals that I received.

I went to gander mountain looking for a rifle for my wife. I stood at the gun counter for 30 to 40 min and watched as they helped everyone around me and never acknowledged I was there. That’s unacceptable. I went to academy and was in and out in 20 min with the rifle.

We have found some good deals here. It is never very busy here, which concerns me a little. I hope I’m just hitting it at off times. They have everything you’d ever want in terms of fire arms and they have tons of fishing supplies too. I like the layout. Also, if you’re in the market for some really good hiking shoes, Gander Mountain carries Keen shoes. I love mine and they have served me well in Italy and hiking in California.
As with most Gander Mountains, you may have to search to find someone in most of the departments, but once you do, they’re pretty nice to work with. The gun counter can get busy, so you may have to wait in order to be served, so be ready for that.
