The room was imaculate. However, there were a few problems that applied to the outside of the hotel rooms. There was a penis pump placed right next to the door of another apartment and a bullet on the ground. The pool was not clear whatsoever and when the front desk was contacted, they insisted the pool was clean. For the most part, the exterior consisted of dirty rags, peeling paint, and trash.

Room was really outdated… should be able to kick off your shoes and relax and not fear getting something on your socks/feet and the parking lot had so many potholes. Probably should have stayed in their Texarkana AR location.

I should’ve looked at the reviews first. I’m thinking this may be the more ghetto of the La Quintas on State Line Rd. I didn’t enjoy driving up and seeing a cluster of men just hanging out in the parking lot. Also, there were men out drinking on the stair case. Not exactly the safest feeling when alone with my toddler. It’s cleaner than some places I’ve been but definitely not by much. I’ve attached a picture of the tub before showering though I’m sort of afraid to do so after seeing it. The outlets are loose so if your charger moves slightly it won’t work and the volume to my tv was pretty much stuck on loud. I should’ve paid the extra for a nicer hotel but hey I’m always trying to save some money.

Under $ 50, for the price, good enough.

Our room was supposed to be ready by 3:00. We came back at 4:30 and they hadn’t even started cleaning it. At 9:30 at night youth ran up and down the hall banging on doors and screaming. Clean and friendly

The Texas side La Quinta is not recommended by the locals. Some say it is haunted, others say it’s just pathetic. The Arkansas side is better. Can’t say about pets for either.

Dump, stay across the highway at the other La Qunita. First off, we reserved two non smoking rooms. They had neither when we checked in. So, smoking rooms. The double we had reserved smelled like someone just smoked a bong in it. That’s awesome when you have kids! Went back downstairs to complain and suddenly they have a non smoking room available? WTF? The other room wasn’t made up yet. At 7:00pm. Next, it’s June 2nd and their pool isn’t open yet. We had three kids with us that wanted to swim so we loaded up and went across the highway to the other La Qunita. I guess this place is the only place in the area that allows pets and Bongs, so if you need a place like this then by all means hook yourself up. Otherwise, avoid!!!

We enjoyed our stay here March 2013. We found it clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good! It is pet friendly. I read some of the other reviews, to me, they seem a little harsh. Our stay was good! Would stay here again.

Unless you are traveling with a dog, DEFINITELY skip this place! I have stayed here a number of times as(I am a La Quinta returns member &) the price makes it seem to be a good value… but never, never again! Look in the corners, behind the bed, etc. and you will find years of accumulated filth. A few of the staff are very friendly but the rest are apathetic and/or have poor/negative/terrible attitudes. I endured these things while needing to be in the area for ~ 1 month a year or more, but being awaken by bedbugs feasting on me while there this past week = never again!

I guess they know they’ve got you because you need a place to stay if you’re going to or from Dallas. It’s WAY overpriced. However, it was clean and the bed was comfortable… there’s a Denny’s next door and a Waffle House across the street. However, $ 95 is crazy.

If you just need a place to sleep and shower this is a good deal. We were in town to visit family so we basically needed a place for those 2 reasons… I was a little worried after reading reviews, but I took a chance because the price was good. The beds are comfy. I lysoled the whole place when we got there :) its a bit old and not super clean, ie: hair on the bathroom floor, and if you walk around the room bare foot you’re gonna have some dirty feet. so just make sure to bring some slippers or keep your socks on and a travel size can of Lysol and the $ 45 a night is worth it. we stayed for 6 nights, so it was a good way to save money. if you leave your room after house keeping has gone by you’ll probably want to call them or the front desk to make sure they come back. housekeeping was always super put out when i answered the door in my towel and told them we’d be gone in an hour for the rest of the day, so could they come back anytime after that? all in all i’d stay again if we needed a place for that many nights.

It’s a livable situation for the price, location… but most of all its PETFRIENDLY!!! I called everywhere and some of the so called«pet friendly» hotels charge you a $ 75 fee? Who the hell can afford that? Ridiculous! I found the staff to be seriously attentive. I checked into a «non-smoking» room only to find it had been smoked in… allot! The staff behind the desk ran right to the room to present me with another key and I moved to the new room. I really appreciate service like that, don’t you?

Extremely comfortable bed, price is just right. That’s all you need, right? If only the wifi was better, then it would be perfect. 40kbps is mediocre.
