Popeyes

Bad experience at Popeyes. The service was ok but the food was terrible. If you want a biscuit for 8.99 and a drink, order the fish and shrimp combo because it wasn’t worth eating. It’s only purpose would be to throw to the ducks at spring lake park. What was supposed to be shrimp was just hard fried crust with no meat. Crusty nuggets. And what was supposed to be fish, I do not have an explanation to what kind’ve fish it was. It didn’t taste or smell like fish. The price was way too high and they like to rush you at the window and that’s why they get the order wrong. The wait took forever, I guess because they were busy frying the shrimp meat to ash. Next time I will keep driving straight to Churches. Popeyes you need to get it together before you lose business.

I love popeyes. I was super excited to know they had one here. I left pretty displeased. so much for fast food. it took 15 minutes. the lady who did the drive thru told me to «hold on I cant deal with all of everyones needs» when i was at the window and asked for mustard… got mad because i asked for a large drink and she gave me a small. then was yelling at her co-​workers very rudely. then yelled at the cook because he burnt all of the chicken. 5 cars after me left before i finally got my food. and the lady who walked up had the biggest smile as she threw me my food…

This has to be the best Popeye’s Chicken I have found. I was lucky enough to stop here when passing through town. The staff is very friendly and our food was super fresh and they gave us only good cuts of chicken. The sides were amazing as well.
The restaurant is very clean — for example, they are vigilant about it too. They had already cleaned our table before we were out the door!
I only wish I had a Popeye’s this good near me in DFW!

I love the chicken, not Creasy or heavy with a lot of coating. Mild recipe for me, hot and spacey for my husband. Beats out the other fast food fried chicken places, would get 5 stars if serving containers a little nicer.
