Quality Inn

I got a free room upgrade being a diamond member and they didn’t have too. They were fast and friendly.

I have to update my review. This hotel used to be better. I reviewed them after they had done renovations and it was decent, however things have started going downhill.
I stay here at least 4 times a year when traveling with our dog. It is one of the few «dog friendly» motels in the area.
When not with the dog we stay at the much newer Comfort Suits for just a tiny bit more money.
The front desk staff has always been great so that is not the problem.
One thing that works me is every time we stay in a «non-​smoking» room there are cigarette burns on the bedspread. I guess there is not a bedspread at the motel without burns.
Another thing that bothers me is they are raising their rate to bring your dog by 40%.
I have not totally decided but it looks like I may be looking for a different dog friendly hotel in the area. I almost always stay at Choice Hotels and the majority are decent and clean. This one is on a downside. I hope they fix it because it is convenient for me but I am very close to not bringing my wife to stay here anymore.

— The clerk was ASLEEP at the front desk at 8:00 AM.
— The hotel overall looks like it hasn’t had any attention since 2001.
— The pool was half filled with GREEN water.
— There is a DERELICT car with flat tires parked on the lot. This apparently belongs to the maintenance man who lives onsite. It make the the property look derelict as well.
— The same maintenance man was manning the the front desk at checkout. He VERBALLY ACCOSTED me when I called the manager to tell her about the property. He told me he owned the place and only hired her (property manager) to manager the front end. He yelled at me for a full five minutes as I attempted to extricate myself from the checkout process. His response to «I’ll take this up with Choice Hotels corporate» was «Go ahead.»

This place was repulsive in nearly every way!
The front desk person was good, but the room was disgusting. As soon as I walked in I noticed a big stain on the carpet, the table was unsuitable and weak, the smell was gross, the towels were thin and un-​useable, there was a pile of trash between the building, cigarette holes in the bedspreads, the shower/​bathtub was covered in footprints, even the ice bucket was gross.
