On the plus side, Jeff(the owner) seems to know his stuff, and as far I know, he(eventually) will take care of you if anything goes wrong. But I’m not even sure about that, because he’s one of these types of people who feels entitled to not show up when he said he would meet you(and not return calls), and then acts like it’s no big deal afterward. But the crew that Jeff hired to work on my house… oh man. Above all, they did an incompetent job. They had to come back out three times to fix what they screwed up the first time. They installed a door to the outside but forgot to put on the weather stripping, so the breeze from outside was literally blowing inside. Similarly, they forgot to put the gasket on a shower door, and water leakage literally ruined the drywall in the bathroom. The behavior of the crew might have been even worse than their incompetence. They started blasting their radio loudly outside at 6:30 in the morning. I’m sure any sleeping neighbors didn’t appreciate it. Without asking, they used glasses and dishes from my cupboards and dried their hands on my kitchen towel. They turned off my hot water without telling me, and didn’t turn it back on when they left(I took a cold shower the next morning). They left dirty paper towels and leftover fast food bags around the house. They changed the temperature on my thermostat and didn’t change it back when they left. Maybe Jeff has a better crew these days… but if you take a chance and hire him, don’t say you weren’t warned.
