Colony Public Library

I love this library. The employees are very nice and helpful. They offer a great selection e-​books through Overdrive. I have taken online classes, Microsoft Word and Excel, through Gale Courses. These classes really help me pursue and different job.

Oh, The Colony, how I’m learning your ways. Little did I know there was a library down the road from me, than when I stumbled upon this co-​shared building. The library on the right hand side and the City Hall on the left hand side. The library may be small, but as far as what they have to offer, I will say it’s a lot!
Free Wifi (unprotected…meh), friendly staff, quiet reading rooms with plenty of desks for studying and a great deal of books. I haven’t checked any out but I have used this quiet reading room of theirs and love it. I have a large desk with my very own lamp all to myself! Now, I may be here on a Friday in the middle of the afternoon, but, hey, I have my own lamp! I love lamp.
I went to a fancy, newly built library in Plano and they couldn’t even provide a room like this one. :) This library has an older feeling, but don’t underestimate the variety of services.
