Kroger really outdid themselves! This grocery store is very organized and the staff is attentive. I live next to another Kroger, but I frequently drive out to this location because I get more of the things I like in a single trip. There is a natural foods section at the front of the store which I frequent and a great beer and wine selection along with the premade hot meals like you would find in Whole Foods. I managed to find this weird little craft beer from Oregon that I could only find at Total Wine until now. I do think some products are a little bit more expensive, but this Kroger also has more to offer than its competitors.

Very clean and normally well stocked store, however I have occasionally gone for staple items and they’ve been out. It is a large store with a wide variety of products and departments including clothing, shoes and jewelry as well as the normal grocery items. Employees are generally friendly and ask if you need assistance.

I really like this place but they don’t have good prices. i was comparing prices and the item I wanted cost 19 cents more than Walmart’s price. I don’t want to pay more for something that is cheaper right across the street. I would still come back here because not everything is expensive.

Every time I go into this Kroger, the employees are friendly and always greet me with a «hello ma’am. How are you today?» This makes me feel special without making me feel like I have to hold one of those long drawn out conversations that some department store clerks have with you. The food is fresh. You can even learn how to bake your own bread, get fresh sushi, great Starbucks coffee. They always have carts inside when you walk in and even have them separated for you to use. I’d rather shop at this Kroger than other area groceries although a few items are a little higher. But those are just certain items/brands at any Kroger.

It will be hard to top this grocery store. This has it all, an amazing gourmet cheese selection, a wide variety of organic produce and everything else you could want from a full service grocery store. The aisles are wide and even on a Saturday afternoon there was no wait at the checkout lanes. Even more impressive was the staff, I was kindly greeted by every employee I passed and they were quick to ask if I needed help or just to be polite. I had to recommend this store to my friends and co workers the next day!

When I first walked in, I thought this might be the best Kroger location ever. It’s Central Market in size with tons of selections for every item you can think of(they even have clothes!). But I was only there for one thing(alcohol) and the lone elderly cashier manning the self-service station couldn’t pry herself away from chatting with another customer to check my ID. When she finally did(10 minutes later), she didn’t say a word to me, much less make eye contact. What a joke. Hire better people, Kroger.

This is a great Kroger that they just opened up in Castle Hills. Big store with a lot of selections. Awesome layout and always has what you’re looking for at great prices. The store is always cleen and the staff is friendly. Their organic & healthy foods section is quite large for a normal market without going to Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s and comparable prices. The fresh tortillas are superior and their wine and cheese section is one of the best I’ve seen.

This review is for the BAKERY only. We ordered a birthday cake for my son a couple of months ago. The cake decorations looked great and the cake tasted good, if not a little on the dry side. Happy with that decision, we ordered a half sheet for my oldest son’s birthday this past week. Utter disaster. We ordered a very simple birthday cake with minimal decorations because my son wanted to put lego creations on top and Kroger does not have a Lego cake. We decided to pick up the cake a day early which was fortunate because they lost the order. Without asking, the staff immediately notified a manager who displayed exemplary customer service. The manger took the order again and upgraded to a full sheet with no charge to make it right. We did not ask, she offered. The manager was simply amazing and really went above and beyond as this gesture was not expected. The next morning, the bakery called because they had questions about the cake design. The lady phoning acted very annoyed that she had to make the cake. She kept asking questions that were already explained on the order form. So we reviewed the order multiple times with her which was difficult as she kept interrupting during the explanation. The cake had absolutely NO decorations on top other than HAPPYBIRTHDAY and his name. The manager left very explicit and detail instructions and we explained also. They even had similar designs in the store which we directed them to review. I arrived to pickup the cake and it was not in the best condition. The writing which was suppose to be straight across the top center of the cake; it was not centered and was crooked. One could see they slapped it together and got it out the door as quickly as possible. Otherwise, this Kroger is an excellent store and a welcomed addition to our area of town. The manager was outstanding. Unfortunately, Kroger is very familiar with the phrase«hard to find good help». The very same individuals who put forth no effort and did not care how the cake looked would like $ 15/hr starting minimum wage. Then they wonder why so many are opposed to that wage.

Kroger Marketplace, reminds me of a mini Walmart, which is on the other side of 121 from this Kroger. Along with the huge variety of fresh foods you expect, this Kroger Marketplace off Main, is where you can find Home Fashion, Décor, Bed and Bath, Kitchen/Small Appliances, Home Office items, Toys, Beer/Wine, full service pharmacy, gasoline station out in front and all your grocery shopping needs. It’s clear, they offer an abundance of the items you need for every part of your life, Kroger Marketplace is your one-stop shopping destination, just like Walmart who just might be a tad cheaper. It will be interesting to see, if any, how these two location will try to win the neighborhood over.

Clean. Organized. Huge cake/baked goods selection – friendly staff! Their produce section looks fresh and neatly stacked(almost like Hmart when it was new). There’s a Starbucks area(with outdoor seating). I normally go to Super Target across the street, but I may have to stop by Kroger more often(especially for their big produce, bakery, and café section).

Combining the selection and specialization of Central Market and Whole Foods with the size of Walmart, this Kroger Marketplace is definitely a welcomed hybrid in the Lewisville/Colony/Carrollton area. What makes this store a rival to Central Market and Whole Foods is its large organic produce selection, bulk bar, in-house sushi and tortilla makers, artisanal cheeses, wine selection, fresh-and-ready items, and butcher/seafood offerings. The store also has an extensive cosmetics selection, a home goods area, clothing(including some brand names), a large pharmacy and wellness inventory — and surprisingly a fine jewelry store. Kroger thankfully has responded to shoppers’ preferences and carries a broad range of organic, non-GMO, and other dietary specific products — clearly labeled and reasonably priced. Since it’s a brand new location, the store is especially clean, organized and well-stocked and the employees are welcoming and helpful — hopefully this will remain the case after as the months go by. Check out was easy with self-service lanes and staffed lanes — a welcome change from other stores’ approach. The clincher for me is Kroger’s fuel points program — where my shopping habits can knock up to $ 0.10 off each gallon of gas at their store’s gas station. This new store has a much larger gas station than other local stores and features hand sanitizers at the pump.

This Kroger is kind of awesome! The layout is very convenient, they have a natural foods section at the front which I thought was pretty cool. They have great deals as any Kroger would, but instead of the usual set up, the aisles are very spacious and well organized. They also have an extensive selection of items that are made in-store! I personally LOVE the fresh tortillas! All of the workers here are very friendly as well, and will greet you and offer assistance. It’s a little bit of a drive past other stores, but this is going to be our new grocery store of choice whenever we aren’t just needing to grab something quick!

All I can say is Heaven!!! Kroger’s has always been my favorite grocery store since I was a kid. They always have what I am looking for. When I first saw the construction going up for the new Kroger I could not wait for them to finish and they finally did and it is heaven on earth!!! My daughter and I absolutely fell in love with it. They have sushi chef that also do stir fry… The barbecue sandwiches they sell in the food bar is absolutely delicious and a brisket melts in your mouth… We love the fresh squeezed orange juice this is the only orange juice that we buy now it is fresh squeezed daily right there in the store. The seafood market is my absolute favorite because I am a seafood lover!!! They also have a grilling station for the steaks! They have every kind of meat and poultry that you can think of! The veggies and fruits are always fresh and of course they have their organic section for you to choose from as well. Then they have the usual pharmacy and this one also has a furniture section with many outdoor furniture still choose from and all kinds of different barbecue grills from gas to charcoal. I am not interested in the clothes but they have them too. LOL I usually come to this market at least two to three times a week I love it

Love this location! They have everything. Well not everything. Close to everything I would need. I easily can spend two hours here. Staff is super friendly. Not one employee walks by without greeting me or my kids. They are more than happy to help me find something. I know it just open, but its so clean and organized. Everything is perfectly laid out and easy to find. They have mini shopping carts for your little ones and several different types of kid friendly carts if you you’re hauling more than 1 child. It makes it exciting for my kids to go grocery shopping. My daughter asked me all week if we could come back so she can load her cart with stuff instead of mommy’s cart. Makes her feel really independent and grown to be able to cart our groceries. Soooo… we came back today. And even with with no naps, kids came here excited and well behaved thinking its a prize to come here. Because ya know must grocery trips are dreaded for parents when theres kids involved. The end.
