La Petite Academy

I thank God that He protected my children this long.

After taking our Grandson to La Petite Academy for only 5 days, he came home with 4 very severe bites! 1 on the very first day and 3 of them were on his 5^th day within the first two hours he was there!
The day I went back to talk to the director, just pulling in the driveway of the Academy he began to scream like he was being tortured. He has had many sleepless nights and walked around our house constantly saying «bite you» «bite you» for several days!
It is very apparent to us this facility does NOT have enough supervision!
I was NEVER given any type of incident report until a week later when a complete stranger I was talking to mentioned the situation and how upset I was over it told me she had worked for La Petite and that they have a very strict policy about the incident report. So I called the facility and asked the Director and she acted very surprised that I had not gotten one, then offered to provide me with one.
To add insult to injury when we made the obvious choice to pull our Grandson out and after paying the registration fee of $ 105 and $ 392 a month in advance, they informed me that I would not receive my money back for 6 weeks!
I then called their corporate office in Novi Michigan and was told they could expedite it and maybe get it back to me in 4 weeks!
My Grandson was bullied and tortured at the hands of another child and has suffered both physically and emotionally from this.
I would NOT recommend La Petite Academy to anyone!!!

Great staff. Very flexible. Ms. Myra is wonderful with the kids. I would have given a 5 if the facility were updated a little more.

My son is 19 months and I just want to say every since he entered la Petit he has been doing exceptionally well. The teachers are excellent and the Director Andrea does a fantastic job to work with parents and to make sure we are satisfied with their services. I’m glad that I chose this school.

This place is horrible. I brought my son here only to pick him up crying, pants off, glue in his hair, and dirty diaper. It was really bad. When I walked in I heard the 15 year old teaching assistant telling at my son to shut up. Who was only ONE. Unbelievable, save the trauma your little one will endure. The director doesn’t give a damn about anything except robbing you. Kids are a paycheck to her. What a joke this place is.
