We went to this palios location as I ended up buying a restaurant certificate. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and quality of food. We had difficulty finding this place due to all the construction around but it was worth the time spent looking for this. The staff was courteous and very prompt in service. The pizzas we ordered were great. Looks like this store is under a new management now and the owner is going the extra mile to make the customers completely satisfied. Definitely the best palios location we have been to so far in Frisco area.

Went for lunch hour with my son. His kids pizza was appropriate size and tasty and came with a drink. I went for the gyro, shocked by how fresh and delicious it was. Came with a salad, that was the typical small lunch size, a soda and a bag of chips. Got out of there for about 12 bucks total.

Much love. BYOB = Awesome! Stop at Specs 2 blocks away for massive selection of wine and they will chill your white wine for free in 5 mins(while you shop for your red). Pizza is very solid. Several unique combinations. Cade & Blake or sauceless; several with Alfredo. I like being able to get artichoke and feta. The Greek salad is awesome. Sunday used to be free mimosas, not sure if that’s still true though. They also have a banquet room for groups. Patio is on the east side so there’s less sun. It’s nice to bring a bottle of wine here. On the down side, tipping doesn’t get you any service. I’m an over-tipper so it’s a little frustrating. We’ve probably been here 20+ times(double that if we count take out), so I’m pretty sure it’s everyone. This is counter service so there’s not much to do but when you tip in advance, they could bring plates with apps or come retrieve dirty dishes at the end. Tip if you want, you get the exact same service. Maybe after this, future updates will let us know if this improved.

Great place to meet a friend for lunch. Order at the counter, choose a booth or patio table, and the food comes out quickly! The medium pizza is a perfect size for sharing, and the crust is nice and thin. Personally, I love The Molly. I get it every time!

Sooooo if you want to sit on a patio and enjoy pizza this isn’t the place. Granted the patio is nice and the pizza is good… Unfortunately an «urban hair place» moved in next door. A nice day to enjoy some pizza with our 4 yr old turned into a debacle as 4 – 5 guys were smoking and yelling about something incoherent, of course the cuss words were the only words we could understand. There were four families on the patio that left shortly after The Friday night hang out on the porch of the shop opened up. Unfortunate

I have mixed reviews… The food was excellent, but they do not have a baby changing table available. If you need to change a diaper, you may need to go to your car. Sadly, we will not be returning for a couple of years. I had a salad with balsamic dressing… fresh and crisp. We ordered the Noah pizza and it was very tasty. I am not a fan of onions, but they really made the pizza. Please note, this restaurant is BYOB only. It is a newer place, so maybe they will offer it in the future.

Back again to enjoy their pizza Saturday lunch hour January 2015. Get a salad and split it and enjoy the Mediterranean pizza. Eat right & you got leftovers for lunch next week. Save room for a self serve yogurt @ Fro Yo & Mo on the same side of the street south towards the toll road.

This review was for delivery, not dine in. Pepperoni, pep + jalapeños, Mediterranean, and a cheese. Crust was so light and crispy. Pizza was perfectly cooked. Toppings not always evenly spread. Flavor was vibrant. Light on the sauce, excellent. The pies from this place were so good. Will definitely order again!

Pizza is good! BYOB is an excellent choice! Service is… go up to the cashier to order. Serve yourself soda machine. Staff more interested in each other than serving customers at this location.

The food here was pretty good. I enjoyed graces Alfredo. The lasagna is good. I also tried the traditional baked wings, which did not disappoint me.

3 stars for the food + 1 star for the service = 2 stars. OK, so my friend and I came in here at 8:40PM to have dinner. When we walked in, there were a few tables full of people eating their meals. The gal at the counter said, «are you here to get take out or eat here?» We told her we wanted to eat there. She said, «You can’t, because we close at 9, so we’re not seating anyone else.» We were shocked. Excuse me, but when is 8:40 too late when you are still open, and still have patrons eating? Then, we looked around — they had half the restaurant dark, with chairs up on the tables. WHAT??? Also, the place reeked of bleach. It’s great that they clean, but seriously? The bleach smell is so strong that it overpowers pizza cooking in a pizza restaurant? So, we were famished, so we ordered Calzones to go. The food was fine, but nothing I would go back to get. The whole terrible service thing ruined me for this place. Honestly, I’ve never been to a Palio’s, but I’ve considered getting their Groupons. Now I never will. Does their manager know they are basically kicking people out before closing time? Because if so, that’s even more appalling. Also, it’s overpriced! Two calzones came to $ 28 and change. That’s with NODRINKS. What???

Great service not so great food. Everything tastes like it came out of a can. I live nearby and travel further away when I want pizza or pasta. I cave them a second chance recently and still wasn’t satisfied

Very nice and great place for lunch. Helpful lady at counter and very nice. Easy ordering options or fully customizable pizza. Only $ 8.99 for small personal pizza salad and drink. Was about 10 minute wait to cook and pizza was awesome. Fountain drinks so serve yourself. Good music and good noise to have a lunch meeting. Def will eat here again if in the area and recommend it.

The thin crust pizza here is very good, and they don’t cheap out on the meat either. They had a manager’s special when we were there. Buy one get one half off, so we ended up getting two mediums and having a whole one as a leftover for the next day. Great deal! I usually love garlic bread, but I found it to only be okay here. I wish they gave us warm marinara sauce instead of a cold, tiny portion. Even Pizza Hut gives warm marinara sauce! They do make it up in the fact that they have garlic butter though!

Skip this Palio’s– Bad service, wrong orders and rude manager Didn’t mention we couldn’t order the lunch specials with the living social coupon. Unlike other Palio’s, no bread nor salad was served after 30 minutes we ordered three lunch specials, one calzones and one gyro. The manager brought the pastas and breads together and that’s when he told us we could not get the salads since we used the coupon.(Um… we have already paid for 30 minutes, I would have ordered differently if I knew I was not getting the lunch salad!). Then I realized my gyro does not have the salad nor the chips. I could not eat without salad… so after I have settled my kids down, I asked the manager was it because I used a coupon that they also took away the salad on my gyro and the chips? They blamed me because I mentioned«just sandwich», I replied I said that to the cashier just so she would not mix up with the lunch specials — sandwich. I ordered one calzone, but they brought out two and only at that time I realized they charged me for two calzones too. No apology, no plan to fix their mistakes either. I didn’t want to deal with them anymore so as soon as my kids were done eating, we were out of there. Go to the Frisco location, service is much better there. If you want a good gyro, go to Fadi’s, also in Frisco. Even with the coupon, I don’t think it worths my time. I feel like I wasted one hour of my time there and didn’t even get one thing right(including the correct toppings I ordered for my kid in the calzone). Do not let my disappointment to be yours, RUNAWAY from this PALIO’s at The Colony! RUNFAST

This place is in my neighborhood. I finally tried it for the first time over the weekend since food options in The Colony SUCK! Anyway, I was highly impressed with the pizza and the customer service. I would have preferred the crust to be more thin, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly thick. Lots of specialty pizzas and toppings to choose from. Also lots of pasta and salad dishes to choose from too. A bit pricier than commercialized pizza places, but you get what you pay for. The place was clean, the location is convenient and the food is quality. I will be going back

We have ordered from multiple Palio’s around the DFW area and haven’t ever had the problem we had here. Their pizza is pretty decent, not great but the service was HORRIBLE. We went there today on Sunday at 7 so it was not very busy. We ordered two pizza’s a gluten free one and a large. We got settled in with our two young children at a table. After waiting TWENTY minutes the lady walking the orders out came to us and said«umm I’m sorry but we don’t have any more gluten free crusts».(They couldn’t figure that out when I ordered or before we waited 20 minutes!!!) I have a wheat allergy so there was no way I could eat there now. So she asked if we wanted a refund and the answer was yes because I couldn’t eat a regular pizza. Then she asked if we still wanted our other one and we said if you’ve already started making it sure no problem. Instead of refunding my credit card she gave me cash back(which was fine) for the whole receipt. I said I thought we were going to still get our other pizza? We made it clear we didn’t mind paying for it, but she said«I think they are going to give it to you free». The manager shouted something at us across the bar but there was no way we could hear what he was saying. So we buckled down and waited a little longer. Then the manager finally walked around the counter with an angry look on his face and said«I gave you a refund, what else do you want?!?» I calmly told him that since you didn’t have a gluten free crust that we accepted a refund, but were told that our other pizza was still being made. He replied tersely with«no when we didn’t have the gluten free crust we cancelled the order». I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a manager in my entire life. Not only did he not apologize for not telling us TWENTY minutes earlier that they didn’t have Gluten Free crusts he was just out right rude. Also in twenty minutes they hadn’t told us what was going nor asked what we wanted to do order they couldn’t fulfill. Needless to say we gathered up our two kids and left. We will never return after being treated like that. Save your money and go to a different Palio’s where they are actually cordial and will treat you with respect.

I love Palio’s but definitely not this location! I placed an order for pickup and was told the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I get there and pay and have to wait 40 minutes for my order! They should hire more people. There were 3 workers trying to handle a very busy restaurant. The hostess was also the waitress and a cook. I saw her making two salads for one table and she had a glove on her left hand only. How can you go from the cash register to place an order to cutting up tomatoes for a salad with only one glove on! How gross! The waitress told me that I could get a drink while I wait, so I decided to put Minute Maid Lemonade in a cup and what a horrible mistake that was. It tasted like lemonade from a sewer. I literally had to go in the restroom and wash my mouth out. On to the food… I was so ready to eat the lasagna that I always order from the Frisco location until I took my first bite. The edges of the lasagna were so hard and black that I had to remove the entire outer rim. The ricotta cheese was too thick and clumpy in between the layers so had to remove it all. My bf ordered the chicken il palio and what a disaster it was. There was hardly any alfredo sauce in the dish and the pasta noodles were overcooked! It had no flavor at all! The only thing good about this place was the garlic bread. Too bad the server picked up the garlic bread with her bare hands after taking money from me to put in her cash register. I will NEVER again return to THIS location due to the following reasons: sanitation, too long of a wait, bad service, and disgusting food.
