DONOT go to this salon! The coloring I received turned my hair orange! When I went to the salon the next day the receptionist told me they couldn’t fit me in for correction but can out me in a cancellation list for Tuesday and then advised to spend more money on purple shampoo to get rid of the orange. Tuesday came with no call Wednesday came with no call so I emailed them expressing my dissatisfaction and still no response. Although hesitant I was willing to give them the opportunity to correct the horrible mess but they could not even follow up or reply. Horrible service! And I have to rate this salon before I post this but believe me I wouldn’t even give them 1 star!

Never thought of writing a review because the service is alway fantastic. I noticed a bad review so I had to intervene. I have been going here for well over 8 years. I have always been respected and treated like family. Yes, sometimes my stylist is running behind; however, I do not contribute this to only the stylist. If someone shows up 10 minutes late, this then snowballs for the rest of the day. I would rather wait an extra 10 or 15 minutes versus being the one the stylist rushes on to make time up. As far as price, you get what you pay for. If you cannot afford it, there is a Super Cuts or a Flowbee nearby. See you next week for my appointment!

Never in my life have I ever been so insulted as I was this past week at this salon. I made an appointment for a touch up and for a trim for my daughter(who is growing her hair to donate again to Wigs for Kids.) I received a phone call the day before our appointment telling me they would not have time to wash and blow dry my daughter’s hair and would only be able to do a trim on her dry hair. I asked the difference in price for this(she is only 9) and they told me it would be the same price, $ 35, even for less of a service. So I told them not to worry about trimming my daughter’s hair(as I thought this price was ridiculous when they chose to give her less of a service but still wanted me to pay for more) and that I would just be getting my hair done. My appointment was at 3:30 and I showed up at 3:15. I asked how much the touch up would be, as this was the first time I had been to this salon since we have just moved to the area. The girl at the front told me it would be $ 115-$ 155, depending on my hair type and length, plus the hair cut. My eyes kind of bugged out bc their website was a little deceiving as to the price and back in NJ I paid half this price at an upscale salon and they did a wonderful job. I told her I had a lot going on and under the circumstances, I may not be willing to pay over $ 200 for my hair(I hadn’t had a chance to tell her yet but I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and may be starting chemo in the next 2 – 3 weeks so although I needed a touch up and wanted one last nice look before my hair falls out, $ 200+ is kind of ridiculous for only 2 – 3 weeks.) She looked at me and said, «Oh, I understand I shop at the dollar tree and 5 Below also.» Yes, she really said this to me! Then she said, «I’m sure your hair would be in the lower $ 115 range by looking at it but Jamie can tell you for sure when she looks at your hair.» And then she went on to say if I didn’t get it blow dried it would be less also. By this time it was 3:30 and she informed me that Jamie was still doing her last hair cut. I told her we lived right down the street and asked if I could run home and get my daughter’s dance clothes since she was running late bc I would have to leave right from my appointment to take my daughter to dance class. She said that was fine. I returned 10 mins later and she said, «Jamie said now you’re late and she doesn’t have time to do your hair and if you reschedule, to let you know it will be $ 155.» I asked how this was possible when she hadn’t even seen my hair and how I can be late when SHE was the one running late. Well, this Jamie wouldn’t even show her face and obviously DISCRIMINATED against me bc she thought I didn’t have money. Little did she know I probably make 4 times what she makes but doesn’t know my situation as to WHY I wasn’t willing to pay so much at the time. Instead, she decided to tell me it was the most expensive rate so that I wouldn’t reschedule. Needless to say, my daughter and I walked out and we will NEVER return to that salon and I will make sure everyone I know and meet locally knows how terrible and discriminatory this salon is. Never in my life have I been so insulted!
