Don’s Cleaners & Laundry

Bad customer service. Very negative interaction both times I have been here. The woman at the counter is very unpleasant to deal with listing off everything they can’t do or won’t do. This is the only dry cleaners in town and they treat their customers as if they have no choice — I will be going to Hoodriver from now on.

And yet again I am 200 miles away from home on business when I notice that my shirt cuff is missing a button. Unfortunately I decided to give Dons cleaners another shot after taking my clothier to 12^th st Dry cleaners in Hood river for the past few years. I completely understand that they are the same owners, but the big deal is the fact that I like to be appreciated for my business, and the lady in Hood River is awesome.
The front counter lady in The Dalles, never smiles, never says hello, never says thank you, and is basically a sour turd to deal with. My wife Marty refuses to step in the door. We have arranged our week just so we can fit in the trip to Hood River. Now about that damn button! Maybe it is just a stupid button to her, but those stupid buttons are important to all professional people, unlike Don’s Cleaners.
