Motel 6

After checking the Motel 6 main website and seeing $ 62 for a 2 bed bedroom, we were a bit taken back by a differing price on site (we were told that was the discounted AARP price; although the website didn’t state that).
Staff was pleasant & the hotel room smelled clean.
There is a microwave and frig in the room, but no other amenities (ie, no shampoo, no coffee pot or small packet of coffee, & no hair dryer.) I don’t know if this is standard for all motel 6’s, but I can’t recall staying anywhere that shampoo wasn’t in the bathroom.
The location has been recently updated (I would assume within the past 3 to 5 years) but there were many finishing touches not done well — new paint in the room /​flooring, but the bottom of the bathroom door was battered and peeling on both sides and the molding around the door stopped 1 to 1.5 inches before the floor leaving a large gap.
It’s a comfortable bed. But for the price, I expected a bit more.

The rooms were very clean. However, this is our second time staying here, (the only reason there is a second time is because my husband is here for work, it’s pet «friendly», and the only place we could find a weekly rate)… The outdoor area is covered in dog crap everywhere you step, my dog isn’t even comfortable setting foot in the little grassy areas. I was also treated very rudely by the manager in regards to my dog, and felt like my every move was watched because I have a dog. I followed the pet policy to a T. And then witnessed people leaving their dogs in the hotel rooms by themselves Unilocaling and barking the whole while, and then myself being treated the way I was, had us looking everywhere else before we had to come back here.
Also, when I used to be a housekeeper, I was told first day on the job that if you go into someone’s room you are NOT to touch any belongings. My dog and I left one afternoon so they could clean the room, per pet policy, before I left I picked up all of our clothes and bags and put them on the bed. I returned to all of my stuff hiding in a corner, and felt very uncomfortable about the whole situation.

Cheap Rates, very clean rooms, close to some resturants.
I’ve stayed here a couple times and there’s always friendly staff. The rooms are kind of small but very clean and they have a microwave and fridge. I would stay here again.

Touring Oregon. Quiet place. Very clean. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Restaurants nearby. Quick to get back on the highway.

Surely nothing fancy here but the room is very clean and is perfect for the one night stay on a long road traveled. Room resembles a dorm room, only had enough towels and toiletries for one person although we booked for two, and the only complaint is the god awful scratchy towels that were available. They were makeup stained and very very very rough. It looks like the inside of the hotel has recently received an upgrade, let’s hope they replace these awful towels. I am not expecting luxury, but these were absolutely terrible.
However, the water pressure was great, the water was hot, the bed was comfy, and it was exactly what we needed. Would stay again.

Was skeptical but it was the last place in town. It was clean and that’s what counts to me. Not fancy and very simple, but clean. It was over $ 100 but it’s Friday night in August!

Most Motel 6’s are a dump and this one lives up to the standard. The air-​conditioning didn’t work and the room smelled very bad.

Stayed here in March 2014, Would stay here again for sure, pet friendly and clean. I am a big fan of a clean room! Best Motel 6 we have stayed at to date.

Clean, Quite, Friendly staff, the only motel 6 I ever stayed at where the front desk called my room to see if I needed anything! They even saved the room I requested as opposed to just any room. If all Motel 6’s we’re like this one, I would always stay at them, however we all know that’s not the case, as some Motel 6’s suck. Pet friendly with a big field behind it for the dogs to romp. No in-​room coffee as with all Motel 6’s but as far as cheap Motels go this place is Great. For a lower end hotel this place gets 4 stars. Free WiFi, Very clean rooms, great staff, Mini Fridge, microwave and a comfy bed what more could you want for 50 bucks!!! The staff at the Klamath Falls and Medford Motel 6’s should be sent here for training because those places suck!!!

I liked this location because it was between two places we wanted to go. There was a small outdoor pool with plexiglass walls around the pool. It was very inviting. If I had brought a bathing suit, I would have gone in. This is also one of the newer Motel 6 buildings. All of the rooms are inside. The vending and ice machines are inside. If you have little children, it makes you feel more protected than the typical older Motel 6 buildings. This is a location I’d have no problem reserving a room for again.

Two years ago stayed here, commented on issues when asked for survey. Prompt response! All issues remedied. Redesigning all property, very nice for economy lodging. .it is a Motel 6.
However, the staff’s customer service, efficiency & helpfulness far exceeds that of hotels in moderate to high costs, such as Ramada Inns, Holiday Inns, Regency, etc…
Does someone occasionally have a rough day? I suppose… haven’t seen it yet here.
These people, and their owner, care about your experience and will work hard and honorably to improve your experience. All for basic Motel 6 pricing.
Love this place! Wish others cared as much.

Noisy, grimy, stinky, rundown & apathetic staff, if you can go somewhere else you should. Gave it two stars only because it does have a fridge and a microwave.

It is a motel 6 so it doesn’t offer much more than a bed, tv, and bath. Clean but small. Pretty firm mattress. Was not crowded and that helped. No shampoo or conditioner. This is probably one of the older Motel 6’s that you will ever find. Coffee in at the check-​in desk is the only amenity I saw. Outdoor pool was closed for the season. Wifi was a little spotty.
