had several things down at Natalyah’s Closet here in town. Her consignment rules are RIDICULOUS! If it doesn’t sell within 30 days it becomes her property after which she is entitled to all the money! Bull crap! You can come pick it up on the 30th day with no problems. BTW, this wasn’t in my original contract, but she said that applied to all other things I would bring in that were bigger priced items. I don’t think so! If I didn’t sign it with it in writing, I didn’t agree to that. Whenever I went by there she either didn’t have the money, or she was closed due to her or her daughter being sick. I also work! Not a word, not a note, nothing to remind me that my consignment date was coming up and if I didn’t pick up the money, she got to keep it! Any other place I have taken consignment stuff to has always been polite and given you a call or a written notice saying«time’s getting closer». And I’ve never had one tell me after 30 days it’s theirs. I will NEVER take my stuff there again! For crying out loud, she could have popped me a note on here, she’s on my friend’s list, which is going to change soon. So, for those of you who have children’s clothes that you want to put on consignment, I’d check out the other store in town Emma’s Boutique, on 6th Street by Safeway. I’m not sure how her standards and rules are, but hopefully better than at this one! There should be laws governing stores like this so that people who have a life and work don’t get ripped off legally.
