Worst service I have ever experienced which is sad bc the food was good. It was empty but I still had to get up to ask for a refill and to get a check. After I got my food, customers came in, but I think they were friends with the staff. After the customers came in, it was like my son and I didn’t exist. I waited by the cash register while my waitress stood at the bar talking to her friend who was behind the bar with her. She saw me standing there and never asked if I needed anything. A male waiter ended up helping me cash out. Not a pleasant experience. If you don’t speak Spanish or know the staff be prepare to be invisible.

One of our favorite restaurants in town! The most authentic cuisine, best service, and friendliest owners! We would go here every night if we could!

Had the Sopes tonight. Very good. Love their habanero cream sauce. They were very filling and most of all, Delicious!!! Tonight it’s Tacos de Cochinita Pibil for dinner with puréed habanero sauce. It is Soooo good! I stopped using the habanero sauce half-way through to more thoroughly savor the flavors of the meat. Ok, so I’ve been rating them with 5 stars. The food is fantastic, the owners and staff are very attentive and friendly, it’s very clean, including the restrooms and all-in-all one of my new favorites. What I’d change? Well, for starters $ 10 – 12 for four small tacos is a little pricey. The chips and queso is $ 12. Now it’s pretty good size but I ate most of it before my tacos. IMO they should offer a smaller size and drop the price on the large. I asked about this and was told it is the only size they have. Beverage refills can be slow. I mentioned this in my very first review and my next visit they were on top of it. Tonight not so much. I’d also like to see an a la carts taco menu at $ 1-$ 3 per taco depending on your choice. I would have easily ordered 6 tacos tonight instead of a set price for four. Still I’m a fan and I think they have earned 5 stars. I of course, will be back :).

The food can be good depending on the day. Service is horrible. Authentic food for sure and not Tex Mex, service just kind of ruins the experience.

This place advertises as «Authentic Mexican,» leading diners to believe they’re in for something spectacularly different than Taco Bell. Those people will not be disappointed. Also, for anyone in Houston who has ever been to an average Mexican restaurant, and expect something different at a place with an Italian name, you will not be disappointed to find flat bread pizza on the menu. But, for the 99% of the Houston population that knows what Mexican food is, you will wonder; Why Am I Here? The atmosphere is below average. Service is very slow. Portions are small and expensive: Guacamole was simply a plate of chopped avocado, onions, tomatoes. Look up «Authentic Guacamole.» Every recipe requires: Mash Avocados In A Bowl Until Creamy. Caffe di Flore could not get something this simple right!

It may be awesome but we didn’t get to find out. We were seated and listened to 5 songs by the live musician and still had not been greeted. The whole time, the owner was messing with the TV while Rome burned. Maybe another day. :(

Maybe it was that we ordered take out around 7:00pm but it wasn’t real good. Everything was dry and tasted pre made or frozen. We got a pizza for the kids and it had waaaaaay too much cheese. Also, they charge for to go containers. It’s not included in the pricing. We might try it again during busier hours and eat in.

Food is good, service is excellent, prices… not so good. With all due respect the plates are way too overpriced., but again, food is good

Early for lunch on Saturday. We had the Alambre. Did not look very appetizing chicken and beef where overcooked and dry. Shrimp was pretty good. Quac was delicious, rice ok. I couldn’t eat it even wrapped in a tortilla. Found it a little strange that chips had to be ordered as appetizer… queso was yummy. Service was good. was a nice clean and well kept place maybe we ordered the wrong thing. I find it kind of pricey but it’s the Woodlands.

Wow what a great place! I had the mole enchiladas, and they were honestly the best I’ve ever had! I also met the owner who was very kind and accommodating. I will definitely be back!

So I’ve heard good things about this place. The owner use to have an office in the building I work in now and there for tons of people recommended this restaurant for authentic Mexican food. So I being 100% Mexican decided to bring my family to try this place out. I ordered Pozole and was not at all impressed. The parole I had was definitely not flavorful and they they have good seasoning or condiments to add for flavor on the table. The service was slow and lacked attention and customer service. I asked two times for a lime that never came. Me and my family will not be coming back. I don’t see why this place serves Italian pastries from and Italian chef if it’s a Mexican restaurant.

Dropped in on my way home and decided to get something to go. I was very surprised with this place. The restaurant is very clean which is always a plus. I was a little confused when I first walked in because no one was at the host stand. A man walked up shortly after and he was very nice and helped me with the menu. I ordered the Tacos Al Carbon and the Beef Quesadillas along with some Chile con Queso. I added on a slice of Tres Leches based on the reviews. I got home and was so happy when I took my first bite. This is seriously Authentic Mexican food. Everything was EXTREMELY delicious & the Tres Leches was AMAZING! I will definitely be back. This place is a hidden gem in my opinion.

You’re crazy if you’re not coming here for breakfast. Authentic food made with LOVE. They out so much effort into this business and it shows. It’s an experience and not just food. Relax, order something, and talk to your loved ones because that is what life is about and this place helps you remember that. 5 stars waaay up!

Although my vegetarian panino was good my service was terrible. I looked at the menu on Unilocal and saw that it was $ 7.49. When I arrived to pick it up they told me it was $ 11.49! When I questioned the price difference the man(I’m assuming the owner) rudely said«we can change our prices at any time». I showed him the Unilocal menu and he claimed they have no control over their online menu. Yeah, the business does… I have never encountered someone so rude a defensive to a customer. They should have accurate information and be a little more kind. With so many cafes nearby they should really watch how they treat their customers.

Great Mexican food — homemade nachos, homemade refried beans — everything is less greasy and less salty and much better for your health. Terrific seviche with white fish and fun cookies for kids. The best Mexican food in the woodlands for those who watch what they eat!

Good food, but not amazing, specially for their prices, it is genuine Mexican food, really good service and the owners are just delightful, I just don’t see why you’d have to pay for salsa in a Mexican restaurant.

I have dined at Caffe di Fiore numerous times and it was once one of my favorite places to eat. Their tacos de cochinita pibil are awesome and the habanero relish that comes with it is one of the hottest and best things I’ve ever eaten. I also love their breakfast offerings; they are the best Mexican breakfast dishes in The Woodlands. So, I’m sure you’re asking, if I love the food so much, why am I only ranking this place with two stars? Easy – the service. It is some of the worst that I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. The wait staff aren’t bad and they try. What is really bad is the behavior of the owners. If you aren’t a wealthy native speaker of Spanish, they ignore you. Last time I was there, the owner was the one doing the serving and he repeatedly ignored my table for those that spoke Spanish. He was rude and acted as if he didn’t want me to be there. What was surprising to me was that I’d been a regular at the restaurant and am a very good tipper. However, I don’t speak Spanish. So, if you are a native Spanish speaker and want some authentic Mexican food, Caffe di Fiore is the place for you. If you aren’t a native speaker of Spanish, don’t waste your time.
