Stopped by Grub because we hadn’t been in awhile, also it was not busy thanks to all the Superbowl parties. Decided to try the Hippie Chickpea(fresh jalapenos) and the onion rings(ghost sauce, ranch). The Chickpea had really good flavor and tasted pretty fresh. I will note that it was rather filling, I could only eat half. My other half ate the Greek to Me with fresh jalapenos and sweet potato fries. She loved the burger, felt it was fresh and not dry. The feta was a nice compliment as well as the tzatziki. The fries are actually waffle fries and pretty ordinary. Overall, this is good go to. It’s not spectacular but it’s not terrible. The service was good and the place was clean.

Unfortunately they forgot half the order on a pick up and told us it would be awhile before we could get the rest. Manager took care of the situation and the food we did get was very good, even my son was happy. I will give them another chance and it’s good to know some places still believe in taking care of the cust

Grub has some of the best burgers. I’m pretty much a plain Jane when it comes to my burger. I usually go for the backyard burger but lately my favorite is the Lockhart Lengend. This burger has two huge onion rings and Dr. Pepper bbq sauce. I get the sauce on side because I like to have control over my condiments. Actually, I like to put the sauce on my burger and have some left over to dip the skinny fries in. Don’t forget to try the hibiscus raspberry tea. It is delicious.

This was my first time at the burger place. This is a happening place and I look forward to going again. I noticed a well-stocked bar. Moreover, there’s a vegetarian hamburger that’s pretty filling. The sweet potato fries are cooked just right. I took off a star because our dirty dishes just stood at our table setting forever. While the waitress asked if there was anything else we needed, the dishes were never taken away. We put them on the next-door table. I’ll have to try the Grub Burger Bar at City Centre as I loved the ambiance and menu options.

Good burgers and a great atmosphere! Excellent fries, both sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, and great onion rings.

Love the OMG burger! This is a very unique burger joint, with great shakes, and a fun environment! Would highly recommend if you’re craving a good Olé burger. Many healthy options for those looking for a healthy Turkey burger.

I love this place! I’ve been several times because I work close by. The food is great and the service is excellent. I’ve order the chicken strips, a burger with a fried egg on top, and the«limited time only» Mac and cheese burger! The chicken strips are great especially when dipped in their homemade jalepeno ranch. It has a tiny kick to it that you only realize after you’ve finished eating. Nothing too alarming if you don’t like spicy things. The burger with the fried egg is phenomenal. The patty is always perfectly juicy and the egg isn’t too runny but not too over done. And that Mac and cheese burger. If you love Mac and cheese then this is the burger for you! It was piled high and so creamy! No condiments needed because the cheese was the main feature. I sure hope they bring it back full time because it was THAT good. I almost forgot to mention the fries. They serve the skinny fries. Some people don’t like that, but their seasoning should make up for that. I love them! Like I said before, the service has always been excellent. When you order they give you one of those buzzer things. It has a tracker in it so they can bring your food to your table. You fill your own drinks but I’ve been asked several times by staff if they could do it for me. They always make sure you’ve got what you need. Only drawback is the price. It’s about $ 12 for a burger and fries and a drink, which is somewhat high, but not a deal breaker. They have a bar and you can order a spiked milkshake, which is unique. I’ll definitely keep coming back if they continue to serve quality food.

Grub is amazing, very tasty burgers indeed. Also the milkshakes are to die for !! This place has great staff too. Very friendly and welcoming . Only niggle is that my burger bun was really soggy and the onion rings were too hard maybe over cooked. I will be returning for more :)

Great burger bar but probably not the best for a very large group. The burger options were good and the service was quick! We were surprised by how fast the burgers came out, even though it was Saturday night and the restaurant was fairly full. We ordered the front porch burger, luau burger, BBQ burger and a blue cheese one. Got some fries, onion rings and sweet potato fries as wel as some milkshakes: the kitchen sink and dirt and worms one. All delicious and super filling!

Burger was good. Very juicy so be prepared to go through more napkins than when you eat wings or ribs. I like the place and will probably come back sometime but I didn’t find it to be all that«special.» Nice bar and outdoor seating plus regular table seating inside. Only the bar seating is full service. Good shakes but they don’t have malt. For this I was disappointed.

I went in for a carryout order. The staff was friendly and the wait wasn’t too bad. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were good but the burger was far to salty. So salty I could not finish it. It might have been a bad cook so I’ll probably try it again. Aa far as price, It’s The Woodlands so overpriced is the name of the game.

This place rivals one of my favorite spots in Austin, Hop Daddy. I was impressed with the list of non-beef burgers that includes a chicken burger, turkey burger, two kinds of seafood burgers(salmon and ahi tuna) and a chickpea burger. No matter what your preference you’ll find it here, including a nice salad. Servers friendly and are quick to help and answer questions.

I’ve died and gone to Hamburger Heaven! Wow! Grub Burger has been bookmarked and finally I got a chance to pop in and order the most delicious lunch I’ve had in a long time. I have to admit, burgers are not my go-to when eating out-and it’s probably due to the drive-thru kid-food burnout that makes me forget that a grown-up burger should most definitely be on my repertoire. Walk up and order café style restaurant makes it quick to order and sit down where ever you want. We split the mushroom burger, a side salad with balsamic and an order of the most delicious giant size crunchy crispy onion rings you’ve ever seen. I split the burger thinking it would be too manly size but honestly, next time I’m getting my own. It was heaven in every bite. For sure split the rings. Those are monster size with a wonderful spicy BBQ dipping sauce. The salad was crisp and fresh and perfect for sharing. The highlight was a free sample of their salted caramel milkshake! MMM sweetness in a cup. A nice treat. Overall a big winner and the good news… a kids menu with grilled cheese and of course burgers! Go now!

After many indecisive attempts to go this burger bar, a friend of mine finally talked to me into eating at this fine establishment. A little skeptical of how«cool» this burger bar would be, I was amazed! Let’s get into details. Upon first walking in the restaurant, I loved how you were greeted with the big square bar, lots of tables, and the ordering area a few steps down. The place had a modern style, a very happy, family-oriented atmosphere in the day, and a great patio! The staff was incredibly nice, and I was greeted as soon as I entered. After browsing the menu, I had such a hard time choosing something because there were SOMANY burger options. They even had turkey burgers, veggie burgers, and all kinds of «healthier» options. I ended up going with one of the turkey burgers, which come to find out, was the bomb. I can’t stress enough how KIND this staff was. I wanted to break out and say, «YOUGET A CAR, YOUGET A CAR, YOUYOUYOU!»(Anyone get my Oprah reference?) Anyways, we sat at a looooong booth, which was big and comfy. Despite the busy evening rush, our food came out really fast. It was a perfect burger. Juicy turkey patty, a huge soft bun, and the perfect complimentary pairings on the burger. They also have those good skinny fries(don’t really know what those are called.) Last but not least, THOSESHAKES. Heart eyes. Oh my goodness they were so good. I got the average chocolate shake and ate it up. They even have some alcoholic shakes, so cool! All in all, I was totally wowed by their goodness. Yes wowed.

This is our favorite burger joint. No line! We walked in and they passed out the menu at the door. We looked over the menu, ordered at the counter, paid, and went to find seats. Staff brings out the food for you. Super friendly staff. Atmosphere is awesome. My boyfriend favorite burger is the Lockhart Legend burger. I like the Jive Turkey(my boyfriend says it taste like the garden). All buns are made fresh there. Meat is grounded in house. And the ingredients are so fresh! We love the sweet potato waffles fries. Super crispy and hot! Last night I tried the Texas Luau burger for the 1st time. And I had horrible food poisoning from it. I will never get the Texas Luau burger again! Even after that experience last night I’ll still be back.

Charlie M. and I wanted to met after work for a burger ~being a newer restaurant and pet friendly(a young woman enthusiastically confirmed pets are allowed on the patio over the phone) made Grub our choice. Pippin and I were left out by the front door as Charlie went in to get us a table. Turns out you normally order at the counter before finding a table, but they provided us with menus to look through on on the patio with our puppy. Our waitress was very polite when she took our orders, along with our method of payment, back inside. We only saw her again when the food was brought out — No water offered for the small dog with us. Thankfully, I am a bit ridiculous when it comes to my dogs and was able to run and grab him a water dish that I carry in my car. Charlie kept it simple with the Front Porch burger($ 6.60), no veggies, lots of mustard, and regular fries as a side. The Texas Luau($ 8.75) sounded like a nice combination of spicy and sweet; topped with pork, jalapenos, and a pineapple slice, and I ordered it with a Hopadillo to wash it down. Beers that stuck out to me on the menu: Bombshell Blonde Buried Hatchet Stout Fireman’s #4 Saint Arnold Santo Hopadillo IPA All running at $ 5.50. Pretty good deal for that selection, I think. Food presentation was a bit sloppy, and I had to rip apart my burger after a bite to take another look at what was going on: mushy jalapenos and a thick layer of fat on the pork had to be removed or I wouldn’t be able to stomach the meal. The fat, though, was so easy to remove from the chunk of meat I couldn’t help but wonder if it was a courtesy or an oversight from the kitchen. Fat or no fat? That is Grub Burger’s question.

Got a front porch burger without mustard add swiss and add fried egg. I definitely need to come back here and try a milkshake. I loved the décor and the ambience. It wasn’t overly busy on a Thursday afternoon. Customer service was lovely. Price point is great for the quality of food.

This place is always packed. Seems to be an easy local fave stop by sport teams, families, couples and singles. You wait in line to order, get your own drinks and utensils then sit in the restaurant or bar section. Someone brings your food to your table. The hamburgers seem to be popular put the actual hamburger meat has little flavor. The goodies that come with your burger actually are giving off the flavors. The fries are extra skinny and taste pretty good while hot. I ordered the ahi tuna salad once and it was just a-ok. The tuna wasn’t super fresh but wasn’t spoiled. I actually liked the ahi tuna salad just wished it didn’t have that pre frozen tuna taste so much. Otherwise it would have been pretty good. Btw their jalapeño ranch dressing is really good. They have a varied American menu. They are suppose to have really great handspun milkshakes. Hubby had one and liked it. They serve a limited selection of beer and wine. Cocktails are available in the $ 6 – 7 range on their menu. Overall chain restaurant tasting food IMO.

I like Grub but sometimes I get inconsistent customer service. I generally sit at the bar and there are two very pleasant girls(both have dark hair), but there is one(hair is blondish) who caught an attitude because my friends and I ordered the effen martinis and there was no watermelon cut up. .. It made us feel uncomfortable so we ordered another one just to annoy her and left. We like to spend money and are known to be excellent tippers in The Woodlands, but we couldn’t get out of there fast enough because of this chick. We also do a lot of group business events at local restaurants. .. One person can ruin that opportunity for an establishment. I may go back when the other young ladies are there, but if «sourpuss» is there I will turn back around and go somewhere else. Moving on from the one bartender to the food… Burger Favs: The OMG burger. .. Topped with Texas Chili, skinny fries, cheddar cheese, chopped onions and mustard. I also tried the Ghost burger. .. Topped with pepper jack cheese, ghost chili sauce, grilled jalapenos, lettuce and tomato. .. Ummm. .. I decided to be ghostly and ordered it inferno style with a shot of vanilla ice cream as a chaser. .. Bad idea my eyes were watering, my nose was running and I could not get enough water. I felt like the devil made that burger himself. If you can handle hot. .. You will love it. I would recommend. .. This place is fun, laid back, a good experience but watch out for the cloned bartender with an attitude.
