At first I thought I’d found the perfect dentist office. Dr. Carroll understood this and came up with a solution that was cost effective and I was very happy. I have no complaints with the actual dentist. However the dental assistant Kim is a whole different story. Kim is awful, unprofessional, rude and gets upset when you ask questions. She is condescending. Tries to make you feel bad every time you come in. She is rough and has zero compassion for you. I do not know if Dr. Carroll is aware of all the things she says/does at least I’d hope not. I’m happy to find a new dentist and I would not recommend any one to experience this unless he gets a new staff.

Excellent dental office, and an excellent dentist! I’ve been coming here for a few years, and Dr. Carroll has pointed things out in a timely fashion, so I could get them taken care of within my budget and before they worsened.

We are very satisfied with Dr. Carroll and his staff. Everyone is very friendly and caring. We received a recommendation of Dr. C from our old dentist back in Houston when we moved to the Woodlands area almost eight years ago. We have not been disappointed with his handling of our dental needs. He is very kind and calm. He will not recommend unnecessary treatments. With his office location in the mall above the book store and near the food court, it is very convenient to do other errands in the mall before or after the appointment.

The good: This place accepts my insurance and we end up with no co-pay for cleanings. The bad: The actual dentist is good(I only see him for a few minutes of every visit), but I have had several awful experiences with one of the two dental assistants who works there on a regular basis. She is very rude and belittling. She told me my teeth were going to fall out… which is completely ridiculous as I have no dental problems. Also, I really don’t want to seem paranoid, but I swear she attacks teeth with those pointy things A LOT harder than is necessary. I would leave with my teeth feeling clean, but also with my mouth feeling like it was cleaned by a porcupine on a stick. At my new dentist my teeth just feel nice and clean when I leave… After a particular incident that occurred during a routine cleaning(a very awkward situation where she was making racist remarks about a group of people that she didn’t realize I am a part of), I switched dentists. Maybe she just hates me or something. but my family members that also used to go to this dentist had the same experience. Also, mall parking is a nightmare. Again, this isn’t a bad review about the actual dentist or the whole office. The office is nice and has pretty views of the mall’s back entrance out the window. Still, if you go there, you do run the risk of having a very unpleasant lady mangle your mouth while she makes rude comments.
