Ann Newton and Rosa Galan were outstanding taking care of us while selling our house in the
Woodlands. We live out of state and had to close en absentia. Fed ex did the long distance transportation, but we were on vacation to the mountains during the time the docs were sent. The closing was completed in less than 19 hours. Great job!!!

This was my first time closing a deal on the north side, and I decided to trust you Unilocalers to recommend which title company I should use (I usually go by other Realtor recommendations, but there’s never a consensus amongst agents and you can leave more confused on who to pick in the end by doing that).
As a Realtor, it’s so unbelievably important to find a great Title Company for each area you work in. Not all title companies are the same! The biggest worry you have as an agent are errors, timeliness, and incompetence… especially when it comes to complex deals.
We had a beast of a deal before us today, with every complication you could possibly imagine. Ann, our closer, was all over it. So was Rose her assistant. They handled everything perfectly, gave almost daily updates (excellent communication!), and made everything just so easy. Top notch all the way. 5 stars doesn’t even to begin to describe the professionalism and excellent service we got. I’m not shopping for a title company any longer. As long as those 2 ladies are there, that’s my go to Title Company for my Spring/​Woodlands/​etc. clients.

We worked with Kathy Mays and Christa Hobbs at Startex on both the purchase and sale of our home in the Woodlands. They are fantastic. They respond promptly to every phone call, email, request, anything. They got us every document we needed on time and I always felt like we were at the top of their priority list, even when they probably have many other customers.
On the recent sale of our home, we had to sign our closing papers from Virginia where we live, and Christa stayed on the phone with us as we walked through every page with our notary to make sure everything was as it should be. As a buyer, seller, and human being with anxiety wrapped up in these major transactions, I was so grateful to have been able to work with such responsive, friendly, and patient people. I highly recommend this title company.

Ask for Ann Newton she is really great! She takes her time with each client and explains anything that sounds confusing. You don’t ever feel forgotten, they communicate in a timely fashion, and both her and her assistant Brandy go out of their way to assist you with no surprises at the closing table. No matter how complicated the deal may be, they put a solid effort forth, are very professional and super friendly. I genuinely appreciate their efforts and enjoy working with Stewart Title.
The only thing that is a pain is if you have a big truck like me you can’t get in their parking garage and have to park pretty far away. Other than that I look forward to doing business with ST again soon.
